The University of Cambridge is a public research university based in Cambridge, England. The university has more than 18,000 students, with nearly 9,000 staff members. It is organized into 31 colleges and 150 departments and other institutions. The university is made up of six schools comprising of arts and humanities, biological sciences, clinical medicine, humanities and social sciences, physical sciences, and technology. The University Cambridge is the wealthiest university in the UK with an endowment of £4.9 billion in 2013, some of which was received as research grants. The university was founded in 1209 and is one of the oldest universities in the world. The University of Cambridge is rich in history - its famous Colleges and University buildings attract visitors from all over the world. Its lead oncology candidate addresses a pan-tumour driver target applicable across multiple solid tumours, while its lead immunology program is a pan-autoimmune bispecific designed to reset the immune system by selectively depleting harmful T-cell subsets. The company is also exploring new therapeutic strategies such as T-cell subset depletion to broaden its clinical impact. Management is headed by CEO Theodora Harold. To date, T-Therapeutics has secured a total of $91 million in Series A financing, providing runway to advance its pipeline toward first-in-human studies. The fresh capital is earmarked for moving these programs into the clinic and expanding discovery efforts across oncology and autoimmune indications.

Large-scale validation includes a Flock Health trial on 6,840 lambs that showed lower mortality and higher market weights versus industry standards. The company is already selling in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe, and is launching in New Zealand, the USA and Australia. Future plans include expanding its veterinary product pipeline and exploring human wound-care applications. The spin-out is led by co-founders Dr. Jonathan Powell (CEO) and Dr. Nuno Faria. The £4.8 million just raised will accelerate global distribution and finalize new products.

Founded in 2019 by Richard Robinson and James Clough, Robin AI is London-based and has offices in New York, London, and Singapore. Its client roster includes UBS, GE, Pfizer, AbbVie, PepsiCo, KPMG, PwC, and Blue Origin. The company grew its U.S. operations six-fold in 2024 and will use the new funds to support rapid growth in the U.S. market and continued expansion within the global enterprise sector. Financially, Robin AI has raised $25M in this Series B, bringing total funding to $61.5M to date. Robin AI provides an AI-powered legal copilot that automates and speeds up drafting, negotiating, and extracting information from contracts. Its product is available as a Microsoft Word add-in and is reported to cut contract review time by 85%. The company operates a hybrid model combining Anthropic’s Claude LLM with its own proprietary contract data from over 2 million contracts and in-house machine learning. An in-house team of legal professionals (lawyers-in-the-loop) refines outputs to ensure quality and accuracy. Robin AI serves customers ranging from large multinationals to SMEs and scaleups and derives three quarters of its revenue from the US. The company plans to expand its US on-the-ground team, open an office in Singapore to enter Asia Pacific, and grow its AI and machine-learning team. Robin AI builds a "lawyer-in-the-loop" generative AI platform for contract generation, editing and automated processing, offered via a freemium self-serve tier for SMEs and more advanced tools for high-volume bespoke agreements. The product couples fine-tuned LLMs (trained on a proprietary dataset of over 7 million legal text data points) with an in-house legal team of about 30 qualified lawyers to maintain quality and accountability. The company has around 75 full-time employees and is led by CEO Richard Robinson, a former barrister, alongside co-founder James Clough, a former research scientist. Robin AI primarily deploys in the US, which accounts for roughly three-quarters of its revenue, and says revenue has grown about 20-fold since its prior fundraise. The team is pursuing M&A to extend product reach and used part of the latest round to partially acquire competitor LawGeex. The platform is marketed at a mix of customers from SMEs to large global corporations.
