TISSIUM is a clinical and commercial-stage MedTech company founded in 2013 that develops fully biosynthetic, biomorphic, programmable elastomeric polymers for atraumatic tissue repair and tissue reconstruction. The company’s first commercial product, COAPTIUM® CONNECT, received FDA marketing authorization and TISSIUM has entered the U.S. commercial market. Its diversified pipeline includes one commercial product and six products in development across three core verticals: atraumatic sutureless nerve repair, atraumatic hernia repair, and cardiovascular sealants. TISSIUM pairs its polymer solutions with specialized delivery and activation devices designed to optimize procedure consistency and usability. The company is based in Paris and Cambridge and operates a manufacturing site in Roncq, France. Recent financing provides capital to support commercial rollout, advance multiple clinical programs and continue expanding its proprietary biomorphic polymer platform.

AFYREN develops bio-based, low-carbon ingredients through innovative fermentation technology for use in sustainable industrial applications. The company is investing in its flagship AFYREN NEOXY biorefinery, which it now fully owns and is upgrading through an ongoing investment program. AFYREN has secured public support for these investments, including a €3 million grant from the Grand Est Region supported by the European Just Transition Fund and prior installments under Bpifrance’s France Relance initiative. Management says the investments aim to reinforce industrial assets, create jobs, and build sustainable skills in the region. The company announced it met the milestones required to obtain the final grant installment, and previously received a €2.2 million final installment in March 2026 under the same program.
