Founded in 2020 in Kristiansand, HIVE develops a silicon brain composed of neural networks trained to operate as human operators and retrofitted onto existing industrial machines rather than sold as new hardware. Its system has been deployed in tunnels, quarries and logistics sites and has delivered customer results at locations including Yara’s Herøya plant, a Norwegian Road Authority avalanche-clearance project, and through a prior partnership with Toyota Material Handling. HIVE says its software works across brands and machine types and becomes more effective the longer it operates. The company has 52 employees and is expanding from Europe into the U.S., using its recent $15M pre-Series A to hire more technical staff and support that expansion. HIVE is awaiting broader proof of physical-AI effectiveness, targeting measurable cost savings and efficiency gains in the second half of 2026. The founder, Christoffer Jørgenvåg, previously built and sold a control-systems company and this round represents his first institutional VC raise; total funding to date has not been disclosed.

Armada builds and delivers modular AI infrastructure — including Galleon manufacturing systems, Leviathan megawatt-scale modular data centers, and Triton portable units — for high-density training, inference, sovereign neo-cloud and multi-tenant compute environments. The company has documented rapid commercial traction, reporting 540% customer bookings growth in FY25–26 and a 2000% bookings increase in Q1 FY27 year-over-year. Armada has supported defense and commercial deployments, including a rapid Triton field deployment for a defense ally, a U.S. Navy edge deployment during a multinational exercise, a WinDC renewable-energy-backed AI factory deployment in Australia, and trials with Aker BP for offshore rig use. Armada is expanding manufacturing capacity with Galleon Forge One, a planned up-to-400,000-square-foot factory in Arizona expected to create about 500 jobs, enabled by a framework agreement and investment from Johnson Controls. The company has built an ecosystem and marketplace with partners including Microsoft, NVIDIA, Palantir and Dell Technologies to accelerate customer deployments and maintain control over sensitive data and models. Armada has raised capital totaling nearly half a billion dollars to date and is using that funding to scale production, meet accelerating global demand, and support new initiatives.

DISA develops and deploys its patented High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA) platform to liberate and recover critical minerals and remediate legacy uranium sites. The company has commissioned commercial-scale HPSA units at multiple global mining sites and reports more than 100 abandoned uranium mine sites under contract for remediation. In September 2025 DISA received a first-of-its-kind NRC license that enables remediation of AUM sites across the United States. The company plans to begin remediation projects later in 2026, including projects on the Navajo Nation and at a federal site covered by its NRC license. DISA says the technology is designed to offer faster, cleaner, and more efficient mineral liberation and recovery. Helix Earth Technologies, founded in 2022 and spun out of Rice University, builds hardware rooted in proprietary liquid-gas chemistry and aerospace technology co-invented at NASA to address energy efficiency and humidity control in commercial HVAC and adjacent markets. The company is developing a retrofit add-on that separates temperature management from moisture control and targets a large portion of the estimated $150 billion commercial air conditioning market. Helix has been incubated at Greentown Labs since 2023 and has received a Phase II SBIR from the NSF plus grants from the U.S. Department of Energy. With $12 million raised in an oversubscribed Seed 2 round led by Veriten, Helix plans to scale manufacturing and accelerate deployment of its first product. The company has attracted industry attention and awards, including Cleantech 50 to Watch and first place in the 2025 SXSW Pitch competition, positioning it to pursue broader industrial filtration and CO2 capture opportunities.

Treehouse has built AI models that predict job duration and material needs to minimize truck rolls for residential electrical work, focusing initially on EV charger installs. The company asks customers targeted questions and photos, can do virtual visits, and only sends a truck when necessary. Treehouse is licensed as an electrician and serves as the lead contractor, with independent electricians working as subs; it also employs electricians in California and Colorado. It operates in 40 states today and plans to be in all 50 by the end of the year, and intends to hire electricians in six to eight additional markets. Treehouse is a Detroit-based electrification company that delivers turnkey installations for home EV charging and is led by CEO and co‑founder Eric Owski. Its core product is an Installation-as-a-Service offering that pairs a proprietary network of electricians with automated permit documentation and end-to-end customer journey management. Treehouse's pricing technology provides instant, guaranteed quotes for home charging installation at the point of sale or via API, allowing installation costs to be integrated into vehicle financing. The company also compiles every federal, state, and local incentive for home EV charging to help owners maximize incentives and rate plans. Treehouse intends to use new funding to expand its Installation-as-a-Service to more than 30 states in the next 12 months and to invest in software to extend the offering to other electrification products. The company raised $10M in this funding round.
