  • Manual

    Participated · Series A · Mar 2021

Manual began as an online seller of men’s health products but has since pivoted to focus on clinically-guided weight-loss treatments, concentrating on in-demand GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic and Mounjaro. The company offers telemedicine consultations, prescriptions and home delivery, positioning itself as a full-stack provider for obesity care. Management sees weight management as a massive, fast-growing market and plans to use data-driven marketing to reach new patient segments. CEO and co-founder George Pallis states that boosting brand awareness and customer acquisition are the primary near-term objectives. Manual’s recent funding allows it to invest aggressively in these marketing initiatives without immediate dilution or conventional debt service. Although no revenue or user figures were disclosed, the firm believes the new capital will accelerate its growth trajectory and help secure a leading share in the European GLP-1 market.
