Founded in 2015, Belgium-headquartered Sunrise Group pairs FDA-cleared sleep-diagnostic hardware—most notably its mandibular movement sensor—with a full-stack software platform to power Dreem Health, its U.S. digital sleep clinic. Patients connect online with licensed sleep specialists who diagnose and treat conditions such as sleep apnea and insomnia entirely from home and with insurance coverage. Sunrise has regulatory clearances in all 50 states, contracts with payors that collectively insure more than 170 million Americans, and a clinical network exceeding 500 referring providers. The company operates with a team of 80+ clinicians, engineers, and researchers and positions its integrated tech-and-care model as a scalable answer to the severe shortage of sleep physicians. Revenue figures were not disclosed, but the firm secured a $29 million capital infusion to fund nationwide expansion and next-generation hardware and software development. Future plans include enlarging clinical services, accelerating U.S. market penetration, and continuing R&D on detection, monitoring, and treatment technologies for a broad range of sleep disorders.
