Headquartered in Singapore, the company also has offices in Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Ho Chi Minh City and Mumbai. The business began as a blog founded by CEO Roshni Mahtani Cheung and has grown into a regional content, community and commerce player. The company announced a $22 million raise, part of which was structured as venture debt. It counts strategic shareholders such as LINE Southeast Asia, JD.com and SCB 10X, and plans to use the new capital to expand theAsianparent and Mama’s Choice into three new markets before the end of 2022, including Vietnam and a U.S. launch. TechCrunch last covered the company in 2019 when it raised a Series C.

Abler grew its headcount in 2021 and expects to finish the year with at least 40 employees. The company emphasizes people development alongside growth and plans to use new capital to expand its customer base and operations.
