  • HidFunc

    Participated · Series A · Jul 2026

HidFunc was founded in December 2023 as a spinout from Fudan University to commercialize anode-free sodium battery technology developed by co-founder and chief scientist Wang Fei. The company offers a sodium battery platform with distinct high-power (“High Speed”) and high-energy (“Hidden Peak”) product lines targeting markets from consumer electronics and power tools to electric vehicles and stationary storage. Its High Speed series has already entered China’s leading tier of sodium battery suppliers by shipment, while Hidden Peak products are undergoing qualification tests with multiple passenger and commercial vehicle manufacturers. Management cites manufacturing yield and consistent large-scale production as the primary commercialization challenge and is using electrochemical modeling to optimize processes. HidFunc plans to use the latest funding to build new production lines and further develop its platform as it scales toward gigawatt-hour manufacturing. The company has attracted backing from both venture capital and strategic industry investors, including previous support from Luminous Ventures, SoftBank China, and IDG Capital.

  • Galaxea AI

    Participated · Series B · Feb 2026

Founded in 2023 and based in Beijing, Galaxea AI develops embodied intelligence systems centered on Vision‑Language‑Action (VLA) models and World Action Models. The company emphasizes a tightly integrated approach where VLA and World Action Models co‑evolve using massive real‑world datasets collected from open environments. Galaxea has open‑sourced three VLA models to date and contrasts its real‑data‑driven approach with competitors that rely primarily on simulation. The firm acknowledges challenges of high data collection difficulty, cost, and slower scalability inherent to its chosen data strategy. Following a nearly CNY1 billion Series B in February, Galaxea completed a nearly CNY2 billion Series B+ at a CNY200 billion valuation to fund further R&D, ecosystem expansion, and commercial deployment efforts.

  • Robot Era

    Participated · Series A · Jul 2025

Robotera builds full-stack humanoid robots combining AI "brain" systems, motion control, dexterous hands and humanoid hardware, and positions itself toward logistics and industrial deployments. The company reports beginning deliveries of several thousand units in Q2 2026 and claims deployments in over ten logistics centers across China with partners including SF Group and China Post. Robotera states it has achieved up to 85% of human efficiency in some logistics contexts operating 24/7 and cites a claimed 300% growth rate (no baseline published). Its investor and partner base spans logistics, automotive and consumer electronics players such as SF Group, Geely, Renault (cited as a partner), Alibaba, Samsung, Lenovo and Haier, which the company and articles present as potential channels for further deployments. Financially, the company has raised nearly ¥2.5 billion RMB (~$350M) in total capital following the recent financing, which the company says supports scaling production and broader commercial rollouts. The articles note competition from Western and Chinese robotics firms but highlight Robotera’s operational logistics focus and industrial partnerships as key differentiators.

  • EdgeRock

    Participated · Series A · Mar 2024

垠石精工 develops integrated line-control braking systems for automobiles. One of its core self-developed products is the hydraulic integrated line-control braking system HIB (One-box). The HIB (One-box) is designed to meet domestic line-control braking and chassis electronic-control industries' demand for highly integrated heavy-load technology. The company recently completed an A round financing at the 亿元级 level. Proceeds will be used to bolster the team and build mass-production lines. The financing is intended to accelerate the mass-production rollout of the company’s full-stack self-developed heavy-duty One-box technology in the automotive industry.

  • Helixon

    Participated · Series A · Jun 2022

Helixon develops an AI scientific-computing platform combined with in-house high-throughput biological experiment capabilities to provide molecular computation, simulation and design tools for drug developers. The company focuses particularly on large-molecule drug discovery and immunotherapies, developing machine-learning algorithms and data-acquisition technologies to rework drug-development workflows. It has created multiple protein-design and modelling algorithms and integrated them with high-throughput experimental platforms to complete AI-design / experimental-validation iterative loops. Helixon says it is building out multiple large-molecule and immunotherapy pipelines with plans to advance them toward the clinic. Since its founding in June 2021, the company has recruited leading domestic and international experts in AI research, structural biology and disease research. The business has attracted market recognition and has just completed a significant Series A financing to support expansion.
