The announcement of its Series C indicates ongoing investor interest, though financial results and revenue figures were not disclosed.

  • Bluefield Energy

    Led · Seed · Mar 2026

Bluefield Energy operates two core businesses: BF Agri, an aggregation service that bundles low-voltage solar PV plants for wholesale bidding and operation, and BF Cloud, a digital solution that automates complex billing and settlement for retail electricity providers. The company targets the underserved, distributed low-voltage segment of Japan's solar market and aims to monetize by bidding generation into JEPX and charging fees tied to generated electricity. It plans to use recent financing to scale sales and operations teams, hire engineers to accelerate BF Cloud feature development, and deepen ties with regional financial institutions that finance many small plant owners. Bluefield has set a goal to increase traded generation 40–50x and to reach 1 GW of aggregated capacity by fiscal 2027. The firm is also planning to expand BF Cloud functionality (PL analysis, sales support) and explore AI-driven BPO services as customers grow. The company cited supportive policy moves, including a new "qualified operator" regime from METI, as favorable tailwinds for its market expansion.

  • AnyReach

    Participated · Seed · Jan 2026

AnyReach is a Tokyo-based startup that develops AnyGift, an e-gift (social gift) service for e-commerce and D2C brands. The platform enables merchants to integrate online gifting into their sites without custom development, letting senders deliver gifts without knowing the recipient’s address. Recipients can choose delivery dates or select alternative products through a built-in digital catalogue, streamlining the entire gifting experience. Since its launch eight months ago, AnyGift has been adopted by more than 500 companies, demonstrating strong initial traction. The company aims to evolve into a “global online gift platform,” using its newly secured capital to accelerate product development and expand its customer base. While revenue figures were not disclosed, the rapid uptake highlights the demand for turnkey social gifting solutions among merchants.

  • Smooth

    Participated · Series B · Dec 2025

Smooth operates a fintech platform that breaks up the hefty upfront costs of renting—such as security deposits, key money, and brokerage fees—into manageable installment payments. The service is delivered via LINE and features an AI-driven credit screening that can render a decision in as little as 15 seconds. It is popular with cash-constrained customers like new graduates and job-changers, and had more than 430,000 LINE registrants as of December 2025. Real-estate agencies benefit because the product reduces tenant drop-off and boosts contract conversion, leading to a three-fold year-over-year increase in participating stores nationwide. Smooth monetizes by financing the initial rental outlays and recouping them over time from users, and it is now expanding its product suite to adjacent financial services. The fresh capital will fund product enhancements, operational scale-up, and further development of new financial offerings. The company is also exploring diversified financing structures to support the growing volume of upfront rental advances.

  • Nexta

    Participated · Series B · Nov 2025

Nexta offers SmartF, a cloud-based core business system that standardizes common manufacturing processes and can be introduced without any customization, targeting the large population of small- and medium-sized manufacturers in Japan. The platform covers all industries and combines deployment support to encourage on-site adoption, avoiding costly scratch builds or heavy customization. The company plans to evolve SmartF into an all-in-one system by adding sales management and SFA functions and will roll out three AI agents this year and a total of twenty manufacturing-specific AI agents within two years. Through a new capital and business alliance, Ricoh Japan will handle nationwide sales, implementation, and post-deployment support using its 341 locations and customer base of more than one million companies. Over roughly the past 2.5 years, Nexta has grown its headcount from 20 to 120 and increased average monthly revenue more than sevenfold. The firm estimates its total addressable market for manufacturing DX at about ¥1.8 trillion. Proceeds from the latest financing will strengthen product development and expand hiring and organizational capabilities.
