Founded in 2015 in Spain, 3ANTS develops technology and services to detect and eliminate illegal digital content en masse to fight online piracy. Its solutions are used by major film producers and distributors and the company operates in markets including Spain, the US, Argentina, Mexico and the UK, and also serves sectors such as publishing. 3ANTS holds an EU H2020 Cybersecurity seal and won second prize in the EIT Digital Challenge, reflecting external recognition of its technology. The startup attributes its success to its team, philosophy and proprietary technology capable of large-scale takedowns of illicit content. Management says the recent capital injection will enable development of new services targeting fraud and counterfeits and support growth in existing markets.
