- NxLite
Participated · Series A · Jul 2026
NxLite develops proprietary permanent, low-emissivity coatings applicable to both glass and polymeric substrates that aim to reduce energy consumption while cutting weight versus conventional alternatives. The company partners with leaders in the window industry, commercial refrigeration, transportation and other sectors and reports having secured commercial agreements and offtake. Since its first close in October 2025, NxLite has been adding capacity and enhancing full-scale manufacturing capability at its Advanced Innovation & Manufacturing (AIM) Center in Canton, Michigan. Financially, NxLite completed a $13.1 million Series A final close and obtained a $3.5 million debt facility from RSF Social Finance to support its manufacturing scale-up. The company appointed Erin Sawyer, a supply-chain and operations leader, to its board to help accelerate operational execution and compress timelines. NxLite is actively scaling its technology for broader commercial application across multiple use cases.
- QUBITRIUM
Led · Seed · Apr 2026
Founded in 2020 as a spin-off from QuTech and Özyeğin University, Qubitrium develops miniaturized, CubeSat-compatible quantum hardware such as entangled photon sources, single-photon detectors, and quantum memories. Its product ecosystem includes the QubitCore payload and the QubTag time tagger, aimed at enabling secure quantum key distribution (QKD) and sensing for aerospace and defense customers. The company recently reported a successful orbital deployment and validation of its quantum payload, which it describes as a validation phase for space-based quantum communication infrastructure. Qubitrium plans to use the €2.25M Seed-plus financing to expand its technical infrastructure and accelerate its go-to-market strategy. The financing was led by the Türkiye Development Fund and ACT Venture Partners.
- Cellbricks Therapeutics
Participated · Seed · Mar 2026
Cellbricks develops vascularised human tissue implants using a proprietary light-based bioprinting platform that combines human cells and biomaterials to produce large, viable constructs. Its near-term programmes focus on adipose tissue for complex wound healing and breast reconstruction, while a longer-term ambition targets organ-scale tissues such as liver. The company emphasizes a fully integrated in-house approach spanning cells, biomaterials, printers, software and translational capabilities, and says its light-based method enables roughly 15x faster production than other bioprinting approaches. For adipose indications it uses patient-derived cells to enable a faster regulatory path, whereas organ programmes rely on stem-cell–derived allogeneic cells. Cellbricks maintains offices in Berlin and Boston, has recruited international talent (the team includes 13 nationalities), and is pursuing pharma partnerships to access upfront payments and milestones as part of its commercialization strategy.
- Meddenovo Drug Design
Led · Seed · Jul 2024
Meddenovo builds an AI-powered molecular modelling platform specifically designed to harness the properties of cyclic peptides for drug discovery. The company positions its platform as uniquely focused on cyclic peptides to address therapeutically relevant targets. It is targeting diseases including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and antimicrobial resistance. Founders Dr Ilke Ugur Marion (co-founder and CEO) and Dr Antoine Marion (co-founder and CTO) bring drug-development, scientific research, project management, and computational chemistry expertise. Meddenovo raised up to €1 million in a Pre-seed round to accelerate R&D, enhance its AI-driven platforms, and expand its customer base and partnerships. The company plans to transition from a service-based model to a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering and to pursue co-development opportunities with pharmaceutical and biotech partners.
