  • Revela

    Participated · Seed · Dec 2025

Revela is building machine-learning software that automatically reviews ultrasound images for subtle indicators of endometriosis and delivers a structured report for clinician review. By inserting AI analysis at the earliest stage of the diagnostic pathway, the platform aims to cut the multi-year delay and need for invasive surgery that many patients currently face. Its algorithms are trained on carefully curated, high-quality datasets gathered in collaboration with patients and clinicians. The company positions itself at the intersection of women’s health and medical imaging, targeting a global market of millions affected by endometriosis. Fresh off a £411,000 pre-seed raise, Revela plans to expand its engineering and clinical teams and secure larger training datasets to accelerate product development. The business is pre-revenue and focused on achieving its first commercial product launch.

  • Jack Fertility

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2025

Founded in May 2022 in Oxford by Nick Shipley and Lily Elsner, Jack Fertility is tackling the stigma and inconvenience surrounding male reproductive health. Its flagship product, Snip Check™, is billed as the UK’s first fully portable vasectomy test kit: users mail in a preserved sample that remains viable for up to five days, receive results via a companion mobile app, and gain access to supportive communities. The company positions this method as both more convenient and more clinically rigorous than existing at-home or remote fertility tests. With fresh capital secured, Jack Fertility is preparing the commercial launch of Snip Check™ while rapidly developing a complete home-to-lab semen analysis kit. In the longer term, the founders aim to build a suite of data-driven tools that make sperm testing as routine as checking blood pressure. The startup has not yet disclosed revenue or user figures but has attracted early investor and grant support to finance product development and market entry.

  • The Joy Club

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2022

The Joy Club, founded by Hannah Thomson and launched in December 2020, runs a wide range of live online events every weekday for retirees — from art classes and belly-dancing workouts to live music and expert talks. The women-led platform aims to tackle loneliness among older people by helping members try new things and form friendships both online and offline. The startup highlights a large, growing market in the UK, noting around 9 million internet-using retirees and that 90% of people aged 65–74 are regular internet users. The company says 65% of retirees feel ignored by consumer brands and positions itself to create products specifically designed for this demographic. The Joy Club has raised external capital to build out community features to better support member engagement and make it easier for users to form online and offline connections. The funding will also be used to scale the community so more people can enjoy a joyful retirement.

  • Flown

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2022

Born in the pandemic, FLOWN originally combined physical locations with support services and has pivoted to a fully virtual platform for businesses and individuals. Its core product is live facilitated "deep work" sessions called Flocks, plus a library of on‑demand focus and recharge content. Members receive a 30‑day free trial; thereafter subscriptions start from £15/month (tax‑deductible) and a "free forever" option is available. The company says it already has paying customers who attend Flocks on average four times a week. FLOWN is led by serial entrepreneur Alicia Navarro alongside her sister Cat Navarro; Alicia previously founded Skimlinks, which was acquired by Connexity in 2020. Investors describe the plan as building a media company for deep work, applying the playbook of Calm and Peloton to workspace services. Flown is a two-product platform that pairs knowledge workers with inspiring, productivity-optimised properties and provides online resources to support sustained "deep work." Its "Flown Away" product curates homes, hotels and retreats equipped for ergonomic, distraction-free remote work, while "Flown Here" offers virtual tools such as accountability groups and creative challenges. The venture targets the growing global population of knowledge workers by offering midweek and off‑season demand to property owners as a way to diversify revenue. The company closed a $1.5M pre-seed round to build the platform, onboard properties and hire a team. Hires already include people from Mr & Mrs Smith, Ometria, Quill, McKinsey’s Generation and Resi. Flown plans a formal launch in the U.K. and Portugal in early 2021 and is offering £200 of credit to people who join its member waitlist or nominate a property.

  • Slip

    Participated · Seed · Mar 2022

Slip is a London-based receipt tech startup led by CEO and founder Tash Grossman. Its platform transforms receipts into a dynamic tool for engagement, insight, and growth, offering digital receipts that are convenient, sustainable, and rewarding. Slip's API integrates with retail systems and partners including Shopify, Klaviyo, Epos Now and Sitoo, feeding customer activity insights directly into partner CRMs and marketing technology stacks. The company reports its approach has driven more than 25,000 app downloads and has been rolled out across 400 stores. Its software is used by retailers including JD Sports and Beyond Retro. Slip raised £2.5M in seed funding and intends to use the proceeds to further enhance its technology. Slip is building a retailer-agnostic mobile app that lets users receive digital receipts via QR codes, view and manage omnichannel spending, and receive personalised discounts and content. The backend software supplies retailers with product-level data and insights to inform planning. The company emphasises sustainability and aims to eliminate harmful non-recyclable receipts. Founded in 2021 by Tash Grossman and Eddy Herman, Slip is backed by an advisory team with over a century of retail and IT experience at firms including Sainsbury’s, IBM, House of Fraser, Accenture, FARFETCH, John Lewis, Harrods and Arsenal FC. Grossman (Co-founder & CEO) is a Founder Institute graduate with a management consulting background; Herman leads product development with software and security experience from Darktrace and The Hut Group. The app is due to launch in the summer and the company will use funding to support product development and continued growth.
