Founded in May 2022 in Oxford by Nick Shipley and Lily Elsner, Jack Fertility is tackling the stigma and inconvenience surrounding male reproductive health. Its flagship product, Snip Check™, is billed as the UK’s first fully portable vasectomy test kit: users mail in a preserved sample that remains viable for up to five days, receive results via a companion mobile app, and gain access to supportive communities. The company positions this method as both more convenient and more clinically rigorous than existing at-home or remote fertility tests. With fresh capital secured, Jack Fertility is preparing the commercial launch of Snip Check™ while rapidly developing a complete home-to-lab semen analysis kit. In the longer term, the founders aim to build a suite of data-driven tools that make sperm testing as routine as checking blood pressure. The startup has not yet disclosed revenue or user figures but has attracted early investor and grant support to finance product development and market entry.
