- BITE Data
Participated · Seed · Nov 2025
Founded in 2023 and based in Leesburg, Virginia, BITE Data develops AI-powered software that replaces the manual, error-prone tasks involved in global trade compliance. The platform is designed for both import and export workflows, helping companies manage tariffs, sanctions, and other cross-border regulatory requirements with greater speed and accuracy. Led by former U.S. customs and enforcement professionals Thariq Kara and Anne Riitho, the team leverages deep regulatory expertise to build automation tools for a legacy industry under increasing geopolitical pressure. With fresh venture backing, BITE plans to expand its engineering ranks and stand up a dedicated sales organization to accelerate customer adoption. The startup has secured a total of $3 million in funding to date, consisting of a pre-seed round and a recently closed seed round.
- Catena
Participated · Seed · Sep 2025
Catena provides a single, modern API that unifies real-time and historical truck telematics data from thousands of fleets, giving brokers, insurers, shippers, and fintechs a clean, permissioned view of the supply chain. Its platform currently connects more than 300,000 vehicles and serves customers such as Truckstop, PortPro, and Tread. By normalizing siloed carrier data, Catena enables applications ranging from payments and insurance to fraud detection, risk management, and AI-driven predictive analytics. Founded in January 2024 by industry veterans Jeremy Baksht, Travis May, and Mike Goynes, the company positions itself as the “missing data layer” for freight. The team’s background spans Walmart, Bloomberg, Citigroup, Datavant, LiveRamp, Interos, and Optoro, giving them deep expertise in data infrastructure and logistics. Catena intends to use its new capital to accelerate product development, expand integrations with telematics providers, and deepen partnerships across brokerage, insurance, and fintech segments. The company has raised $8 million to date, including the newly announced seed round.
- goFlux
Participated · Series A · Apr 2024
goFlux provides a SaaS platform that digitizes the entire logistics process for agricultural road freight, handling quoting, negotiating, contracting and carrier payments. The company pairs logistics management with fintech services to facilitate access to financing for underbanked SME carriers. goFlux is focused on agri-freight across Brazil and Latin America and was founded in 2018. Planned product work includes goFlux View, a predictive-intelligence solution integrated into its contracting platform, and investments in AI for freight prediction. The company will use the Series A proceeds to expand its salesforce, strengthen fintech capabilities, and improve platform functionality, security, and compliance. goFlux aims to streamline freight operations and enhance productivity for shippers and carriers. GoFlux provides a digital freight platform that enables shippers and carriers to handle quotes, negotiations, contracting, documentation, fleet management and real-time monitoring. The platform can convert a carrier’s receivables into same-day payment and offers prepayment credit in conjunction with Banco Rendimento. GoFlux plans to structure its own FIDC by the end of the year to diversify financing sources for users. The company aims to transact $500 million in freight in 2021 (about 1.3% of the Brazilian market) and to double that volume in 2022. Founded in 2018 and based in São Paulo, GoFlux operated with a bootstrap mentality until this round. The startup positions itself as a network connecting large agriculture companies to transport companies, rather than an app for hiring individual drivers. It intends to use new funding to enhance its financial offerings and expand market reach, and to build tools and contracts to help companies protect freight and manage positions.
- Bosque Foods
Participated · Seed · May 2022
Bosque Foods develops mycelium-based whole-cut meat alternatives using a solid-state biomass fermentation process. Its whole-cut products are clean-label, require minimal processing due to mycelium's naturally meaty texture, and are described as similar to chicken or pork. The company plans pilot-scale testing of its technology and collaboration with chefs to trial products in restaurants. Bosque intends to seek regulatory approval in both Europe and the US. The company first revealed its products in February at a private tasting and positions its offerings as new alternatives rather than exact replicas of animal meat. It will use the seed funding to further develop its products and work toward commercialisation.
