  • Moove

    Participated · Series C · Aug 2026

Founded in 2020 in Nigeria and now headquartered in Dubai, Moove started as a vehicle-financing startup and expanded into ride-hailing and deliveries in Africa before moving into autonomous vehicle operations in 2023. The company currently owns and operates a 42,000-vehicle human-driven ride-hailing fleet across 14 countries and employs about 3,300 people globally while continuing to provide vehicle financing to gig drivers. Moove serves as the fleet operator for Waymo in Phoenix, Miami and Las Vegas and plans future operations in London; it also already owns robotaxi vehicles from another AV developer. The firm intends to acquire robotaxis via debt financing and aims to scale to potentially hundreds of thousands of vehicles over time. Moove is investing in automated depots called Nests to enable around-the-clock, robotics-assisted charging, maintenance and servicing, and expects its traditional mobility business to achieve full profitability this year.

  • GEO

    Led · Series B · Dec 2025

GEO develops and manufactures high-performance electrolyte and carbon-nanotube (CNT) slurry that are critical upstream materials for lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles and stationary storage systems. To meet fast-rising global demand, the company has built a fully automated European “super-factory,” completing construction in just 13 months and already shipping product to top-tier customers; the plant holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and VDA6.3 certifications. Management plans to use newly secured capital to strengthen R&D, expand production capacity, and accelerate vertical supply-chain integration across Europe and North America. GEO emphasizes cost advantages through automation and localised service, positioning itself to alleviate raw-material shortages in Western markets. Investors highlight the company’s seasoned expert team, rapid execution capabilities and extensive global R&D network as key competitive moats. With significant backing and a blueprint for additional international facilities, GEO aims to become a pivotal supplier enabling the low-carbon transition.

  • CloudZero

    Led · Series C · May 2025

CloudZero provides a next-generation cloud cost optimization platform that automates the collection, allocation, and analysis of cloud costs to uncover savings and improve unit economics. It enables engineering-led cost management so companies can understand 100% of their operational cloud spend and connect cloud decisions directly to business outcomes. Customers named in the announcement include Coinbase, DraftKings, Expedia, Moody's, Nubank, Klaviyo, Miro, and Rapid7. The company reported another year of triple-digit growth and announced a $56 million Series C to fund expansion. CloudZero plans to invest the funding in AI-driven cost analytics and forecasting, deeper integrations across developer and finance workflows, and expansion of strategic partners and cloud alliances. The platform is positioned to help enterprises scale efficiently and improve unit economics as AI workloads reshape infrastructure needs. CloudZero provides engineering teams with a unified dashboard that combines cloud billing data with business- and system-level telemetry to show how much an individual product or feature costs. The platform ingests customers’ cloud, platform-as-a-service and software-as-a-service spend, normalizes it into a common data model, and uses hourly cloud spend data plus an AI algorithm to identify “abnormal” spend events. CloudZero plans to use the new funding to expand its platform and scale go-to-market efforts, with an emphasis on savings insights and self-service analytics. The company has over 100 customers, and CEO Phil Pergola said revenue has increased 10x since 2021, though he would not disclose absolute revenue figures. Co-founded by Erik Peterson and Matt Manger nearly 10 years ago, CloudZero positions itself in the FinOps market alongside players such as ProsperOps, Xonai, Vantage, Cast AI, Zesty, and larger vendors like VMware and Apptio. Pergola said demand for the platform is at an "all-time high" as customers focus on profitability and cloud cost visibility. CloudZero is advancing a SaaS-based site reliability platform that identifies system fragility so engineers can proactively optimize reliability. The platform continuously models the changing surface of a cloud system as it operates under pressure and provides insights that deliver trusted reliability. The product is currently in an invite-only beta and the company also announced an open source project, CloudZero Reactor for AWS, which normalizes AWS service metadata and provides an interface to query that information. The Reactor enables the CloudZero platform to model past, present and future states of systems, helping engineers discover and correct emergent behavior and understand its causes. CloudZero will use the funds to open its headquarters in Boston, grow its enterprise SaaS platform, and increase investment in its open source community. The company is led by founder and CEO Erik Peterson and recently closed a $5M Series A.

  • NEURA Robotics

    Participated · Series B · Jan 2025

Founded in 2019 by David Reger in Metzingen, Germany, NEURA Robotics builds ‘cognitive’ robots that can see, hear, sense their surroundings and learn from experience. The company integrates sensors, AI software and robotic hardware into single devices, likening its machines to a “smartphone with arms and legs.” In addition to hardware, it offers the Neuraverse software platform, which enables the safe deployment and interaction of intelligent robots with humans. NEURA serves both industrial and consumer markets and has disclosed nearly $1 billion worth of purchase orders from customers such as Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Omron. Management is focused on accelerating humanoid robot development and scaling production capacity. Financially, the firm previously secured €120 million in January 2025 and is now pursuing a much larger raise to fund expansion. If successful, the new round could push the company’s valuation to approximately €4 billion.

  • Sama

    Participated · Series A · Nov 2019

Sama provides high-quality training data that powers AI applications and is developing what it calls the first end-to-end platform for the AI data lifecycle. The company launched Sama Machine Learning Assisted Annotation MicroModels and one-click human-in-the-loop validation to combine ML with human accuracy. Sama's goal is to remove fragmentation in the data pipeline so datasets can be ingested, annotated with high accuracy, and fed into models with minimal transformation. The company works with customers including Google, Walmart and Nvidia and reports 13x monthly recurring revenue growth since CEO Wendy Gonzalez joined six years ago. Sama is the only certified B Corp in the AI infrastructure space and says it has helped 56,000 people, hiring expert labelers from East Africa, 50% of whom are women, as part of its social mission. Future plans include accelerating coverage of the AI data pipeline, launching in Europe and later Asia Pacific, building out operations, and reducing bias through more representative labeling. Samasource supplies Fortune 100 companies with machine-learning training data and validation services across fields including autonomous transportation, e-commerce and communications. The company operates a global workforce of data specialists — many located in East Africa — and reports a global staff of about 2,900, making it the largest AI and data-annotation employer in East Africa. Clients include Google, Continental, Walmart and Ford, and revenue is generated primarily through its annotation and validation services. As part of its recent raise, Samasource plans to upgrade features of its SamaHub training data platform, opened an AI Development Center in Montreal, and expanded its digital delivery center in Kampala. The company increased Kampala headcount to 90 and plans to grow that by 150% in 2020. Founded as a nonprofit in 2008 by Leila Janah, Samasource converted to for-profit status in 2019, with the prior nonprofit remaining a shareholder.
