  • CHECKTOBUILD

    Participated · Equity · Dec 2023

CHECKTOBUILD is a Málaga-based company that provides autonomous construction supervision and inspection software using 3D models and artificial intelligence. Its platform compares architectural models with daily video point clouds to automate quality control, progress tracking and weekly measurements, producing 3D results and near–real-time reports. The company says its system reduces analysis and decision times to little over five minutes in many cases (with an average report time of 13 minutes reported). CHECKTOBUILD has spent three years developing the product and has run more than 30 pilot projects while building international presence, notably in the U.S. and Latin America. It entered the U.S. real estate market via MOSS CONSTRUCTION in Florida and has operational clients in Chile, Mexico and Peru. The team cites sustainability and material-waste reduction (early detection of concrete errors) as a core benefit of their solution.

  • Aitaca

    Led · Equity · Dec 2023

Aitaca develops a SaaS measurement solution that combines sensors, AI, computer vision, mathematical models and real-time data to calculate body measurements from photos and recommend optimal sizes per brand. Its offering is currently available for clothing and jewelry. The company says its product reduces returns, increases online conversion and average ticket, and can lower CO2 emissions by cutting returns. Aitaca closed a €635,000 financing round at the end of 2023. Proceeds will be used to consolidate its reach with new complementary services and to expand into previously unexplored markets, including footwear. The round included public and private investors and highlights confidence in Aitaca’s growth in the retail sector.

  • Frontline

    Participated · Seed · Jun 2023

Frontline Industrial Software develops a simulation and optimization platform that uses artificial intelligence to identify efficient construction plans and optimize activity sequencing and resource allocation. Its plug-and-play solution integrates with existing construction workflows and uses existing data to simulate thousands of options and deliver optimized plans in seconds. The software is already used by international construction companies across infrastructure, energy and residential sectors, with customers reporting project timeline savings of up to three months and roughly 6% cost reductions. Frontline positions its product to address productivity challenges in construction, citing industry estimates of large annual losses from poor project management and a growing construction-tech market. The company was founded by Luis Martinez and Ruiqi Ding and is targeting increased commercial adoption among contractors and operators. Financially, Frontline announced a $700k seed raise to support its growth and go-to-market efforts.
