The company says its solution improves truck filling rates and planning, enabling logistics clients to save substantial fuel costs. Its platform is used by customers such as STEF (which operates more than 4,000 trucks and serves over 100,000 recipients per day for 9,000 shippers) and by large energy companies to integrate green gases in their networks. DCbrain plans to use the new funding to expand its AI-based engine. The scaleup was founded in 2014 by Arnaud de Moissac and Benjamin de Buttet and is based in Paris. EIT Digital Accelerator supported the company in accessing the financing round.

The company plans to expand into Europe and North America over the next five years and expects to create at least 67 new jobs in the UK. RazorSecure has a memorandum of understanding with the University of Birmingham’s Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education to improve railway cybersecurity. Financially, the company has secured investment and prior funding from Frontier Development Capital, including a £750,000 loan in 2018. The recent funding will support continued staff and product development and international expansion into the global rail market. RazorSecure is a rail-focused cyber-security company that develops machine-learning detection platforms and an EN50155-approved Security Gateway for train manufacturers and operators. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Basingstoke, the company supplies solutions for onboard and trackside applications and has been deployed in over 1,600 rail vehicles, protecting more than 30 million passenger journeys. Customers and partners include Arriva, Icomera and Northern Trains, and the company reports it has doubled its team in the past 12 months. RazorSecure’s product suite detects operational deviations in control systems rather than focusing solely on data protection. The company plans to use the latest funding to expand its global presence and further develop protection for a growing number of rail customers. RazorSecure develops AI-based cybersecurity software that models typical system behavior and detects deviations as potential threats, enabling protection of transport systems without requiring a permanent internet connection. Its primary customers are in the rail and aviation sectors, and it has worked with operators and suppliers including Arriva, Icomera, Nomad Digital and VT Miltope. The company says its approach minimizes successful hacks while remaining effective for the life of a system. RazorSecure plans to use new funding to expand internationally and enter adjacent sectors such as automotive and shipping. The business intends to more than double its team from 12 to 27 people to deliver that strategy. The AIRE translates clinical breath analysis technology into a handheld, at-home tracker that connects via Bluetooth. FoodMarble began as a direct-to-consumer business following a 2018 product launch and is extending its offering to assist clinicians in managing patient digestive health. The company positions the device as a way for users to identify food triggers without lengthy, highly restrictive diets. Planned uses for new funding include expansion into new markets, continued research and development, and further development of the FoodMarble AIRE. Financially, FoodMarble has closed a seed round of around €2.1 million and has also launched a Seedrs crowdfunding campaign to open additional funding to the public. The raise also positions Connecterra as one of the largest Series B financings for a European livestock-tech company and among the largest Series B rounds for a Dutch agtech startup focused on farm animals. Connecterra builds Ida, an AI-powered dairy farmer assistant that processes wearable-sensor and farm data to detect health issues, reproductive timing, and feeding problems while continuously improving via automated learning.
