Marketing lines such as “paying thousands for tax prep and waiting weeks for responses? That ends now” emphasize the product’s focus on affordability and speed. The platform positions itself as a full-service alternative to human tax professionals, leveraging AI to handle complex filings at scale. To fund this vision, Deduction secured $2.8 million in its first outside financing. The company has not yet disclosed user numbers, revenue traction, or detailed financial metrics.

Palabra AI develops an AI-powered speech translation engine that provides real-time language switching with low latency. The company offers Mac and Windows desktop apps that integrate with Google Meet, Zoom, Discord, Slack, and Microsoft Teams, and provides APIs and SDKs for enterprise integration. Its app supports translation in over 30 languages, includes 30 minutes of free translation per month, and paid plans start at $25 per month for 60 minutes. Palabra says it has reduced latency to about 800ms and uses a custom data pipeline that culminates in a human interpreter checking output quality. Customers and partners include video platform Agora, language-service provider GIS Group, and multiple event organizers using the technology for multilingual streams. The startup is working on a streaming prediction model to further cut latency and aims to support translation for over 10,000 simultaneous audio streams.

Memories.ai develops a large visual memory model (LVMM) and related infrastructure intended for use in wearables and robotics. The company launched its LVMM in July 2025 and is pursuing partnerships to accelerate adoption and capability, including a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to use the Cosmos-Reason 2 model and Metropolis video-search platform. Memories.ai also plans integration with Qualcomm processors later in the year to enable on-device deployments. The startup was founded by former Meta employees Sean Shen and Ben Zhou. Financially, Memories.ai recently raised $16 million in a funding round led by Susa Ventures with participation from Seedcamp, Fusion Fund, and Crane Venture Partners to support these product and integration efforts.
