- Kibu
Led · Seed · Apr 2026
Kibu provides an app-based human network that cryptographically binds real human identity to verified interactions using biometric-protected devices, liveness testing, and cryptographic proof. Users build non-discoverable, confirmed Connections that enable secure communication, authorization, and group decisions where identity must be established beforehand. The platform is in use across financial services, security consulting, family offices, and government agencies. Kibu emphasizes establishing trust before communication occurs to address AI-driven impersonation, deepfakes, and account compromise. The company was founded by experts in cybersecurity policy and privacy stewardship and is backed by investors including Cubit Capital, Construct Capital, Slow Ventures, Helena, and Silver Buckshot Ventures. With the recent seed, Kibu has $14 million in total funding and plans to scale adoption and expand its infrastructure to integrate its trust fabric into other tools and workflows.
- Lucid Bots
Led · Series B · Mar 2026
Lucid Bots designs, manufactures and supports autonomous exterior cleaning systems including the Sherpa exterior cleaning drone and the Lavo AI autonomous pressure washing robot. It offers Lucid Refresh, a subscription RaaS platform that bundles hardware, Lucid Command software, training, job intelligence and equipment coverage. The company serves customers ranging from independent operators to enterprise accounts such as Disney, Sunbelt Rentals and commercial facilities managers. Lucid manufactures its products domestically and plans to expand its Charlotte, NC manufacturing capacity. It is a member of the NVIDIA Inception Program and is developing AI and autonomy capabilities in partnership with NVIDIA. The company is led by CEO and Founder Andrew Ashur and has raised a total of $34M to date.
- Lux Aeterna
Participated · Seed · Mar 2026
Lux Aeterna is developing what it calls the world’s first fully reusable satellite platform, combining a flight-proven conical heatshield with a modular satellite bus to enable atmospheric reentry, rapid ground overhaul, and repeat launches. The company’s vertically integrated system is intended to support new mission profiles including orbital computing, in-orbit maintenance, space manufacturing, hypersonic testing, and rapid payload return. Lux Aeterna aims to establish a two-way orbital logistics cycle and a circular economy in space. It completed a $10 million seed round led by Konvoy to accelerate development of its demonstration vehicle and has drawn interest from investors such as Space Capital. The company is targeting a demonstration mission in 2027 to validate its reusable platform and operational model.
- Sage Geosystems
Participated · Series B · Jan 2026
Sage Geosystems is a Houston-based pressure geothermal company that extracts energy from hot dry rock by harnessing both the earth’s heat and natural pressure. Its proprietary system supports three main applications: grid-scale energy storage, 24/7 power generation, and direct heating, which together broaden geothermal’s viable geography beyond traditional hydrothermal regions. The firm is currently building its first commercial pressure-geothermal power facility within an existing Ormat power plant, showcasing a pathway to low-cost, baseload renewable electricity. In 2024 Sage signed an agreement with Meta to supply up to 150 MW of geothermal baseload power for data-center expansion east of the Rocky Mountains. Proceeds from the latest financing will fund continued technology development, construction of the inaugural commercial plant, and expansion of its energy-storage offering. Following its Series B, the company has raised more than $97 million to date, backed by a mix of strategic energy players and climate-focused investors. Although Sage has not disclosed revenue or user metrics, the size of this round underscores investor confidence in its ability to scale geothermal as a global clean-energy resource.
- Vatn Systems
Participated · Series A · Dec 2025
Founded in 2023 in Rhode Island by maritime practitioners and defense engineers, Vatn Systems is building scalable fleets of autonomous underwater vehicles for the U.S. military, allied governments, and civilian customers. Its flagship platforms, the Skelmir S6 and Skelmir S12, combine a plug-and-play payload architecture with INStinct, the company’s proprietary inertial navigation system that provides GPS-denied guidance at a fraction of traditional costs. The vehicles support distributed sensing, ISR, mine countermeasures, electronic warfare, and other emerging undersea missions, and can be re-configured for offshore energy, port security, and environmental monitoring in days rather than months. Throughout 2025 the company delivered AUVs to U.S. government customers, ran successful open-water demonstrations, and ramped production capacity to meet growing demand. Vatn positions itself as a future “underwater defense prime” by offering attritable, mass-deployable systems that align with shifting naval doctrines. Commercially, the same low-cost autonomy unlocks persistent coastal infrastructure monitoring and scientific research opportunities. The recent capital infusion is intended to accelerate production scaling and broaden mission profiles for both defense and civilian markets.
