- Further
Participated · Seed · Nov 2024
Further’s core product is a home‑buying financial calculator that shows what users can afford, estimated monthly mortgage payments, closing costs and other metrics using real‑time interest rates. The product also provides guidance on how easy it will be for a user to find a loan, whether they should wait to buy, and which loan types suit their financial profile. The platform launched its first product in April and was described in the article as going live on the referenced Friday. Further is currently free to use and plans to monetize once it releases additional product developments, though the company declined to share monetization details. The founders built a cap table intentionally including angels with real estate experience to inform product direction. The company positions itself between proptech and fintech and believes that cross-category positioning gives it differentiation versus pure proptech or fintech incumbents.
- Minoa
Participated · Seed · Jun 2023
Minoa was founded in 2022 by Richard Einhorn and Max Elster to address the shift to remote B2B sales. The platform centralizes deal lifecycle information and enables both vendors and customers to collaborate asynchronously, including features for value management, quoting, pricing and an ROI calculator. A key differentiator is that Minoa includes buyers on the platform rather than serving only vendors, which the founders say reduces fragmentation across emails and multiple tools. The co-founders previously built an invoice automation product and a meeting sentiment-analysis tool, respectively. Minoa declined to disclose customer count or growth rate as it is still early-stage. The team is relocating from Europe to San Francisco and plans to leverage its investor network for customer outreach.
- Holocron Technologies

Holocron Technologies is a Washington, D.C.–based AI startup that organizes vast quantities of open-source data using machine learning and natural language processing. Its platform tracks information sources, locations, topics, ideas, sentiment, and stylistic and semantic differences between sources to provide a comprehensive view of the science and technology information landscape. The product enables users to monitor global technological developments and generate insights and reports for diverse intelligence needs. Holocron positions its platform to support government 'alphabet' agencies and the military in using non-sensitive intelligence to answer classified, unclassified, and proprietary requirements across many disciplines. The company was founded by Addam Jensen, Glenn Shell, Jared Edwards, and Tristan Yang. With investor support, Holocron plans to push to revolutionize knowledge security and domain awareness in the science and technology space. Financially, Holocron completed a $1.5M pre-seed raise in April 2023.
- Pearl
Participated · Seed · Jul 2022
Pearl is a Richmond, VA–based, research-backed platform that provides all-in-one tutor management and software to run tutoring at scale for enterprise tutoring companies, academic organizations, districts, and states. Its integrated classroom and administrative tools include individual profiles for administrators, tutors, students, parents, and teachers, plus scheduling, document sharing, 1:1 and small-group virtual classrooms, and post-session reporting. The company collaborates with the Annenberg Institute at Brown University and the National Student Support Accelerator to collect and protect data and to prove efficacy and assure quality of impact. Pearl can deliver required reporting on usage and efficacy, freeing teachers and districts to focus on instruction. The company raised seed funding and plans to use proceeds for talent development and expansion, new data and reporting engines, and to improve the engagement experience for educators and partners. Trilogy Mentors is a B2B SaaS company providing a cloud-based technology platform that empowers tutors and educators to launch and scale branded, relationship-based online learning platforms. Led by founder and CEO John Failla, the platform has facilitated more than 10,000 unique learning sessions for over 150 organizations nationwide. The company is based in Richmand, Va. Trilogy closed more than $1.1M in seed funding led by an investment from Jaffray Woodriff’s family office, Felton Group, LLC, exceeding its initial fundraising goal during the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds from the round will be used for platform development, team growth and marketing. In addition to the capital raise, Trilogy Mentors launched a strategic partnership with Tuscany Strategy Consulting.

EnquireLabs builds Question Stream, a chronological campaign engine that asks context-aware, programmable questions to customers over time and routes answers into marketing stacks in real time. Its question engine uses unique identifiers (email, phone) and behavioral rules to decide when and whom to query, uncoupling questions so brands can collect zero-party data post-purchase. The company says it works with about 2,000 brands, including Allbirds, Figs and Skims, captured just over 30 million responses last year, and achieves survey completion rates above 50%. EnquireLabs began as a side project after founders Matt Bahr and Curt Hasselschwert tested attribution questions and scaled into Shopify-first commerce use cases. It has launched an SDK beta to expand beyond Shopify into mobile apps, insurance and fintech, and plans to invest heavily in engineering and product hiring. Financially, the company doubled revenue over the prior 12 months and recently closed a $4.5M seed round to support growth and R&D.
