  • Cubyn

    Participated · Series C · Mar 2021

Cubyn offers a fully integrated fulfilment and delivery solution that lets e-merchants outsource pickup, warehousing and shipping while keeping stock in Cubyn’s warehouses. The company launched "Cubyn Fulfilment" about 18 months after an earlier funding round and uses proprietary technology ranging from web apps to algorithms and warehouse robotics to optimize operations. Cubyn says this tech enables a fully integrated solution at a fraction of industry-standard cost and lists marketplaces such as Back Market, Rakuten, Mirakl and Fnac as customers. The company grew its gross merchandise value (GMV) from €30 million to €250 million in 2020. Today it operates with 85 employees and says 85% of shipments are in France and 15% international, a ratio it expects to move toward 50-50. Plans include international rollout (Spain and Portugal first, then Italy, the U.K. and Germany) and opening a 25,000 square meter automated facility in the Paris area.
