  • Furbnow

    Led · Seed · Jul 2026

Furbnow operates a platform focused on enabling home energy-efficiency retrofits, connecting homeowners with retrofit services and solutions. The company aims to scale its platform following a £2.5m seed raise to grow its operations in the retrofit market. The seed financing brought together institutional investors and angels to support that expansion. Public reporting names Richard Parker and Paul Nevin in connection with the company. The articles do not disclose revenue, user counts, or valuation information.

  • Silveray

    Participated · Equity · Jun 2026

Silveray designs and manufactures flexible, ultra-thin X-ray film intended to make imaging sharper, less rigid and more comfortable. Its technology is used in industrial radiography—such as testing pipe integrity in oil and gas and detecting faults in aerospace and automotive components. The company is expanding into healthcare, targeting uses including more accessible, portable and affordable X-ray scans, breast cancer screening, radiotherapy and dental imaging. Silveray plans to scale up production and commercial relationships supported by the £5m raise. The firm intends to grow its team by 50% over the next two years to support this expansion.

  • XFuel

    Participated · Series A · Jan 2026

XFuel develops a single-step Chemical Liquid Refining (CLR – CLEAR) process that converts waste hydrocarbon liquids into ultra-clean, drop-in transport fuels aimed at the shipping sector and other hard-to-abate industries. The company is building a modular production plant in Catalonia designed to process 16,000 tonnes of marine waste oils into 14,000 tonnes of low-carbon marine gas oil using waste-based feedstocks. XFuel says the waste-derived feedstocks and process will significantly reduce the carbon footprint of produced fuels. The Catalonia facility is intended as a flagship demonstration of commercial viability and infrastructure compatibility for drop-in low-carbon fuels. The company secured a €4.1 million competitive grant—the second-largest award under the programme—to support the project, which company leadership frames as validation of its technology and commercial credibility. The project also aims to contribute to local economic regeneration in communities facing nuclear plant closures.

  • Maeving

    Participated · Series A · Sep 2025

Maeving designs and sells lightweight electric motorcycles that pair classic, café-racer aesthetics with modern battery technology. Its flagship model, the RM1S, delivers a top speed of 70 mph, an estimated 80-mile range per charge, and a U.S. price point just under $10,000, positioning it among the more affordable options in the electric-motorcycle market. The bikes are purpose-built for urban commuters rather than long-distance riders, with remaining challenges centered on range, charging times, and infrastructure. Demand in the United States is growing quickly, and the company projects the U.S. will account for roughly 40 % of global revenue in 2025. With fresh capital, Maeving plans to scale operations beyond its initial California beachhead and deepen market penetration across additional U.S. states. The business aims to leverage its stylish design and practical price to capture a sizeable share of the urban two-wheeler segment. Financial details beyond the recent raise were not disclosed, but management is focused on converting strong brand enthusiasm into sustained sales growth.

  • Armada Technologies

    Participated · Seed · May 2024

Armada Technologies develops the second-generation Passive Air Lubrication System (PALS), a hull air lubrication technology that uses a venturi system and the vessel’s forward motion to form an optimal bubble spread without compressors. PALS adapts bubble production to a ship’s type and operating conditions — including speed, depth, and weather — and offers a continuous bubble layer even for deeper draft vessels and lower speeds. Armada closed a $3.2 million seed funding round made up of strategic partners and traditional financial investors to advance its eco-friendly maritime solutions. Cool Company Management (CoolCo) will part-fund Armada equipment to be installed on its vessels, while Ecochlor acts as a Growth Partner providing investment, technical support and serving as Armada’s global sales team. Future Planet Capital (through its Blue Ocean Fund), Founders Factory (through the Blue Action Accelerator), and Oxford Seed Fund also participated in the round. Management says the capital will be used to enhance operations, grow the team, bolster project execution, and accelerate adoption of Armada’s technology across the maritime industry.
