Oxford Flow is a manufacturer of advanced valve technologies based in Oxford, UK. Founded in 2015 by Professor Thomas Povey and led by CEO Neil Poxon, the company produces flow control equipment distinguished by a unique piston design. Its product range includes gas and liquid regulators, actuated valves and ancillary products. The company recently raised $25M in a Series C funding round. Oxford Flow intends to use the funds to expand operations and to support its development efforts. Oxford Flow designs and manufactures pressure control equipment using technology developed at Oxford University. Its product line includes pressure reducing valves (PRVs) and gas pressure regulators intended to reduce costs for energy, water and process industries. The company is led by CEO Neil Poxon. Oxford Flow secured £8.45m in funding from eight parties to support scaling of its utility and industrials manufacturing and international expansion. Existing investors Oxford Sciences Innovation, Parkwalk, Oxford Investment Consultants and the University of Oxford contributed £5.6m of the round; the remainder came from GF Piping Systems, individual investor Nick Harbinson and companies associated with GK Goh. The company plans to use the funds to increase headcount in Oxford, UK and Houston, US, scale manufacturing and continue expanding internationally.
