Squido Studio is creating DigiGods, a social VR and mixed-reality platform that lets teens and young adults play mini-games, challenge friends and collaborate on user-generated projects. 9count builds and cross-promotes multiple consumer social apps, including video chat app Wink and dating app Summer. Summer (formerly Spark) uses a grid-based interface to mimic real-life crowded spaces, targets users 18+, and hit No. 1 in the App Store in two markets after launch. The company reports Summer has over 500,000 downloads, more than one million registered users, and over 300,000 monthly active users; Wink reportedly has over 2 million monthly active users and 15 million+ lifetime downloads. 9count says its app portfolio reaches over 10 million users, while Sensor Tower data indicates 16M+ downloads across its products. The company was founded in 2018 and has raised $21.5 million in funding led by Redpoint and GGV Capital.

Arctic7 is a newly announced games development studio formed by former key players from Sony, Microsoft, EA and other leading gaming companies. The 11‑person outfit operates out of Austin, Texas and is led by Igor Efremov, Mark Rizzo, and Alan Van Slyke. The studio’s stated focus is on quality, technical excellence, and creative output as it develops a yet‑unannounced RPG title. Founders and team members bring credits on projects including Gears of War, FIFA, The Sims, Need for Speed and more. Arctic7 closed seed funding to support its AAA vision and initial development efforts. The company says the initial funding exceeded expectations and provides a launchpad to realize its ambitions and establish itself as a first‑class developer.
