Forest operates a zero-emission shared e-bike platform in London, powering its fleet and service vehicles with renewable energy. Founded in 2020 by Agustin Guilisasti alongside Caroline Seton and Michael Stewart, the company serves about 1.5 million users and completes around two million rides per month across 18 boroughs. Forest has deployed roughly 2,600 parking bays and offers users up to 30 free cycling minutes per day, having gifted 110 million free minutes since 2021. Recent commercial wins include sole-operator tenders (notably in Richmond) and it claims the largest continuous operating area of any shared e-bike provider in London. The company plans to use new capital to expand its London operations, invest further in cycling infrastructure, and enhance its app, parking compliance and safety features. As part of its latest financing, OKAI invested equity and took a minority stake, and Fintex Capital expanded an asset-backed facility to support fleet financing.
