Favo operates an app that enables consumers to order groceries through local social networks, connecting shoppers with under-employed entrepreneurs who complete last-mile delivery. Orders are filled and bulk-delivered to entrepreneurs the next day via Favo's logistics and fulfillment system. The model creates steady sales-commission income streams for mostly unemployed people, mainly moms, without requiring them to buy inventory. Favo launched in Peru in 2020 and then expanded into Brazil, offering more than 3,000 products with 24-hour delivery. The company works with 160,000 buyers and reports revenue growth of about 30% month over month.
