  • Snapmaker

    Participated · Series C · Jul 2026

Snapmaker develops consumer-grade desktop 3D printers, most notably the U1 which uses an architecture of four independent tool heads and the SnapSwap™ rapid tool-changing system to enable multi-color and multi-material printing. The U1 architecture reportedly delivers about a 5x improvement in printing efficiency and reduces filament waste by around 80% compared with traditional single-nozzle solutions. The U1 raised $20.61 million on Kickstarter from over 20,000 backers and the company has since shipped over 100,000 units. Snapmaker says the U1 drove a 10x year-over-year revenue increase. The company plans to expand beyond hardware into a creator-centered ecosystem including consumables, a content community, a dedicated 3D model platform for one-click printing, and AI tools to simplify 3D design and production.

CAYE develops commercial fully automatic coffee machines built around its self‑developed Bionic Barista system and multiple proprietary subsystems (including the APW high‑precision powder weight system, VVD vertical vibration powder spreading, CLS closed‑loop extraction calibration, and SuperMix milk frothing). CAYE has applied for over 300 patents, with invention patents comprising more than 40% and a technology conversion rate exceeding 70%. Its X series machines have been sold in over 80 countries and its domestic annual X series sales this year reportedly exceeded the total sales of comparable imported brands over the past decade. CAYE operates a production base in Suzhou with planned annual capacity above 40,000 units and is building a new 38,000‑square‑meter intelligent production base planned for completion by 2028 to reach a 100,000‑unit annual capacity target. The company markets a product matrix covering high, mid, and low‑end commercial scenarios and aims to expand overseas and strengthen global after‑sales service.
