  • Bonkers Corner

    Founded in 2020 by Shubham Gupta, Bonkers Corner operates an omnichannel model to sell streetwear apparel for both men and women. Its catalogue spans oversized graphic T-shirts, gym wear, hoodies, sweatshirts and coordinated sets. The company reported ₹123 crore in operating revenue for the fiscal year ended March 2025, reflecting 23% year-over-year growth, and posted a ₹4.3 crore profit in the same period. After its latest financing, the business carries a post-money valuation of about ₹430 crore (≈$48 million). India SME Investment Fund now holds a 15% stake, while founder Sanjay Gupta and his wife Reena Gupta collectively retain 70.62%. Bonkers Corner competes with other Indian D2C fashion players such as Snitch, Rare Rabbit, MyDesignation, Bewakoof and The Souled Store. The fresh capital positions the company to further scale within India’s competitive direct-to-consumer fashion market.

Commercially, Mantra intends to extend its airport solutions across India and into international markets, while broadening enterprise deployments throughout West Asia. The firm positions its long track record in national security programmes as a competitive moat for global expansion.

    SBL Energy is a Raipur-based manufacturer of industrial and mining explosives that has been operating for almost three decades. The company is the second largest industrial explosives manufacturer in India and claims around a 10% market share. Its core customers are in the mining and infrastructure sectors, and it is beginning to make inroads into the defence sector. Management says the company will use new capital to expand manufacturing capacity and to launch new products. The statement did not disclose revenue figures or a financial breakdown of the business. The company named Sanjay Choudhari as a director commenting on the defence push.

The company sells through 75+ stores across 25+ cities in India and via online channels. Kushal’s positions itself as a premium, on-trend fashion jewellery brand targeting aspirational consumers. The recent funding will be used to invest in brand building, technology, people and retail expansion. The round also facilitated a secondary buyout that provided a partial exit to an earlier institutional investor. The company is preparing for accelerated growth with Lighthouse as a strategic partner. Kushal’s Retail is a Bengaluru-based omni-channel fashion jewellery retailer that sells non-precious ethnic jewellery and fashion accessories under the Kushal’s brand. The Gulecha-family-owned company operates 43 exclusive brand outlets in shopping malls and high streets across southern India and runs an asset-light model. It competes in the direct-to-consumer jewellery space with players such as GIVA and Melorra. The company says the funds will be used to expand store presence, strengthen the online channel, invest in the brand and build a robust organization. India SME Investments was an earlier backer, having first invested in 2019, and the current transaction is said to have valued the company multiple times compared to that round. Motilal Oswal Private Equity committed Rs85 crore (~$11 million) in this round, while India SME Investments also infused additional, unspecified capital.
