KeyCorp is the parent holding company for KeyBank National Association (KeyBank), its principal subsidiary, through which most of its banking services are provided. Through KeyBank and certain other subsidiaries, the Company provides a range of retail and commercial banking, commercial leasing, investment management, consumer finance and investment banking products and services to individual, corporate and institutional clients through two major business segments: Key Community Bank and Key Corporate Bank. In August 2013, KeyCorp closed on its agreement to sell Victory Capital Management and its broker dealer affiliate Victory Capital Advisers.

Since launching in 2017 the company has formed two joint ventures totaling over $1 billion in permanent project capital and grown its portfolio to more than 300 MW of projects in operation or under construction. By the end of 2023 Summit Ridge expected to have over 500 MW of solar and 100 MWh of battery storage online, providing energy savings to approximately 175,000 residential and commercial customers. Its core business centers on community solar subscriptions that expand access to clean energy, including in urban and low-to-moderate income markets. UJET says its tools can materially lower support costs; it cites SpotHero as having halved telephone expenses and cut agent training costs. Customers include SpotHero, Blink and Ring. The San Francisco-based company will use the new capital to scale its business, open a New York office next month and establish an EU headquarters in the second quarter. The company has raised more than $45 million to date, including the new Series B.
