- Xoople
Led · Series B · Apr 2026
Founded in 2019, Xoople has developed a tech stack around government-collected spacecraft data and integrations with cloud providers, aiming to operate its own satellite constellation and optical sensors. The company has focused on data quality and embedding its data distribution into enterprise platforms such as Microsoft and Esri. Xoople recently signed a deal with L3Harris Technologies to begin building sensors for its spacecraft and says those systems will collect optical data. The startup faces established competitors that already operate satellites, including Vantor, Planet, BlackSky, and Airbus. Financially, Xoople has raised $225 million to date, including a $130 million Series B led by Nazca Capital. Management has said it continues to raise capital to fund full development and declined to disclose a valuation, noting they are “in unicorn territory.”
- PLD Space
Participated · Series C · Mar 2026
PLD Space is developing the MIURA 5, a two-stage, partially reusable rocket designed to deploy small satellites into orbit with higher flexibility and reduced scheduling complexity. PLD Space aims to scale its industrial and launch infrastructure to serve a global pipeline of commercial and institutional customers. The MIURA 5 program emphasizes reusability to provide a more sustainable approach to launches. Financially, PLD Space reported securing €210 million in 2026, which includes a €180 million Series C closed in March and a €30 million venture debt loan from the European Investment Bank. The company positions itself among a select group of private firms developing end-to-end launch systems to enable reliable access to space.
