  • ISAAC

    Participated · Equity · Mar 2026

ISAAC, founded in 2018 out of Politecnico di Milano, builds proprietary active mass damper systems that shield existing structures from seismic events without halting building operations. Its smart, non-invasive devices are already deployed in hundreds of strategic sites across Italy, including the San Martino Polyclinic Hospital and the Port of Genoa Control Tower. The company manages the full lifecycle of its solution—from design and installation to continuous monitoring—through standardised, replicable processes. In 2025 it generated approximately €9 million in turnover, reflecting early commercial traction in the structural-safety market. ISAAC has recently upgraded its Electro-Pro 45x control system to boost performance, reliability and integration with existing infrastructure. With new funding, the firm intends to accelerate technology development, hire additional talent and pursue market expansion, aiming to make urban environments safer and more earthquake-resilient.

  • BeNewtral

    Participated · Equity · Feb 2026

BeNewtral is a cleantech company creating ReBind, a proprietary alternative binder engineered to replace Portland cement in concrete without sacrificing strength or durability. The material is produced through low-energy chemical and physical processes that reduce CO₂ emissions by as much as 90% and rely on widely available waste streams rather than quarried minerals. With the new capital, the company has purchased a plant in Pavia that will serve as its first pilot facility and lift production capacity to more than 25,000 tons per year, positioning BeNewtral as Italy’s first industrial-scale producer of alternative binders. Plans also include establishing an advanced R&D laboratory staffed by roughly 20 researchers and forging strategic partnerships with Italian universities and foreign research centers. Commercially, BeNewtral intends to build a network of alliances with leading concrete producers to integrate ReBind into existing supply chains and accelerate market adoption. Founded by Nicolò Verardi and Riccardo Frezzato, the startup has now raised a total of €11 million.

  • Juniper Biosciences

    Led · Seed · Dec 2025

Juniper Biosciences develops radiopharmaceutical solutions with a focus on patient-centered design. Headquartered in Bridgewater, NJ, the company’s pipeline remains confidential but includes multiple assets at various stages of development. Leadership comprises CEO Alex Agnoletto, COO Dr. Indranil Nandi, and Director of Manufacturing Dr. Kyle Hoffmann. The firm is currently pre-commercial and has not disclosed revenue or patient metrics. Its recent capital raise will be directed toward expanding operations and accelerating research and development activities. Management aims to advance its radiopharmaceutical candidates toward clinical milestones with the new funding.

  • Kiutra

    Led · Equity · Oct 2025

Kiutra is a Munich-based deep-tech company that has developed proprietary magnetic refrigeration systems that operate without scarce helium-3, giving researchers and quantum hardware developers easier, safer access to milli-kelvin temperatures. Its turnkey cryogenic units are already installed at leading research institutions, quantum startups, and large corporates worldwide, where they support device development and quality assurance. By eliminating helium-3, Kiutra’s products aim to make the quantum supply chain more sustainable and resilient. The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate global commercialization and scale manufacturing of the next generation of cooling systems. Led by CEO and co-founder Dr. Alexander Regnat, the company positions itself as a critical infrastructure provider for the emerging quantum industry. Including the latest round, Kiutra has secured more than €30 million in combined private and public funding to date.

  • Sarcura

    Participated · Seed · Nov 2022

Sarcura has developed a silicon chip technology with engraved microfluidic channels and integrated photonics to automate, miniaturize and add real-time control to cell therapy manufacturing. The cartridges are designed to enable robust engineering of CAR‑T and other cellular treatments, allowing scientists to control, manipulate and automate drug design in real time. The company positions its tech to reduce manufacturing costs and enhance control during cell selection and engineering. Sarcura cites a crowded pipeline of 1,400+ CAR‑T candidates and argues many will be unsustainable without lower-cost production tools. The team says the cartridges have multiple uses across cell therapy development and manufacturing workflows. The startup was formed two years ago and is based in Austria.
