- Planetary
Led · Series A · Apr 2026
Founded in 2021, Planetary develops and operates a proprietary full-stack platform for bioprocess design, scale-up and industrial fermentation via its BioBlocks system. The company builds, owns and operates fermentation facilities to produce bio-based proteins, fibres and enzymes and pursues an IP-rich licensing strategy with agro-industrial partners, particularly sugar companies. Planetary has commercial traction through product launches under its B2B brand Libre®, including a nationwide mycoprotein filet launch with ALDI Suisse at price parity. It operates industrial-scale production in Aarberg, Switzerland and is scaling sugar-to-protein upcycling technology globally, targeting ultra-low-cost mycoprotein production below €0.85/kg in collaborations with partners in sucrose-rich regions. Planetary is rolling out additional launches across alternative meat and dairy, meat hybrids, fibre-rich products and protein fortification applications. The company plans to expand its global commercial rollout and technology licensing efforts using the newly raised capital.
- R3 Robotics
Participated · Series A · Feb 2026
R3 Robotics, newly rebranded from Circu Li-ion, builds a dismantling platform that combines computer vision, artificial intelligence, and specialized robotic tooling to automate the disassembly of lithium-ion battery packs, e-motors, power electronics, and other electrified vehicle subsystems. The technology is designed for continuous, high-throughput industrial environments, reducing labor costs and minimizing human exposure to high-voltage hazards. By creating clean feedstock for recyclers, the company targets a critical bottleneck in Europe’s push for secure, domestic supplies of strategic raw materials under regulations such as the EU Battery Regulation and Critical Raw Materials Act. R3 Robotics is already piloting its solution with Fortum Battery Recycling and directly processes end-of-life battery systems for automotive OEMs. The long-term vision is to enable fully automated, system-level EV disassembly, turning end-of-life vehicles into sources of reusable components and critical materials. To support this expansion, the firm has appointed former KUKA CEO Peter Mohnen to its advisory board. Financially, the company secured €20 million in fresh capital—€14 million in Series A equity and €6 million in European grants—to industrialise its platform and scale deployments across Europe.
- WNWN Food Labs
Participated · Series A · Jul 2025
Founded in 2021, WNWN Food Labs (branded Win-Win) has developed patented fermentation technology that turns ingredients such as rice and carob into chocolate-like products that look, melt, taste and snap like traditional chocolate. The company’s cocoa-free formulations use up to 80 % less water and generate 82 % fewer CO2e emissions than conventional chocolate, directly addressing deforestation, climate-driven yield declines and other ethical issues in the cacao supply chain. Win-Win applies classic chocolate-making steps—roasting, grinding, refining and tempering—to its alternative base, enabling seamless substitution in pastries, cookies, coatings, desserts and more. Its portfolio currently includes award-winning vegan “M.lk” and dark varieties and has secured a distribution partnership with Martin Braun-Gruppe for the DACH region. With growing demand from manufacturers, food-service providers and retail, the startup plans to scale UK production and enter major European markets. To date, the company has raised £8 million in equity financing to fuel team growth, new product lines and continental expansion.
