- Outpost Bio
Participated · Seed · Mar 2026
Outpost Bio is building a Lab-in-the-Loop platform that marries automated experimentation with machine-learning models to unravel the complex interactions between human microbiology and health outcomes. By continuously feeding experimental data back into its algorithms, the company generates proprietary, human-derived functional datasets at scale. These models aim to aid pharmaceutical partners in lowering clinical risk, optimizing drug formulations, and bolstering regulatory submissions. Beyond pharma, the technology can evaluate how prebiotics, botanicals, and other ingredients affect microbial communities for food and consumer-health applications. The current focus is on expanding both the experimental infrastructure and the machine-learning stack to enhance model accuracy and throughput. Although still at a pre-revenue stage, the company has secured initial funding to accelerate platform development and commercial engagement with R&D teams across multiple industries.
- Heywa Labs
Participated · Seed · Feb 2026
Heywa Labs develops Generative UX (GenUX), an interaction layer that converts traditional AI outputs into structured, visual and interactive stories composed of tappable cards. Its first consumer product, Heywa, is live on iOS in the US, UK and Canada and showcases two-second first interactions and real-time adaptation as users explore travel planning, recipes, fitness routines and more. The system continually reshapes content in response to user intent, aiming to replace static search links and long chatbot text with fluid exploration paths. Built by former Google, Snap and Trainline engineers, the 12-person team claims users engage with multiple cards per query, indicating deeper exploration and understanding. Over the next year the company plans to evolve GenUX into a scalable platform that can power diverse third-party products while deepening its own consumer experience. The seed financing provides capital for engineering, design and growth hiring as well as international expansion. No revenue or user figures have been disclosed, but the company positions its consumer app as a flagship proof point for broader platform ambitions.
- Intron Health
Participated · Seed · Jul 2024
Intron Health builds clinical speech-recognition technology tailored to African accents and medical vocabulary, and can integrate with existing EMRs. Its algorithm is trained on 3.5 million audio clips (16,000 hours) from over 18,000 contributors across 29 countries and 288 accents, primarily from healthcare practitioners. The tool is live in 30 hospitals across five markets, including deployments in Kenya and Nigeria, and has been shown to cut radiology-result wait times in one West African hospital from 48 hours to 20 minutes. The company plans technical improvements including better noise cancellation, low-bandwidth performance, multi-speaker transcription and text-to-speech, and aims to add decision-support/clinical-intelligence tools for prescriptions and lab tests. Intron was launched in 2020 and is also engaged in speech-research partnerships with Google Research, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Digital Square at PATH to evaluate LLMs across 15 countries. The startup raised a $1.6 million pre-seed round to support product development and expansion.
