- Almetra
Participated · Series A · Jun 2026
Almetra develops a manufacturing intelligence platform that combines AI-powered overhead cameras, machine data, IT systems and operator knowledge into a single source of operational intelligence for production lines. Its cameras process video locally to produce structured metrics such as cycle times, output rates and equipment utilisation, with built-in worker privacy through anonymisation and retention of only short randomized snippets for root-cause analysis. The companys proprietary models are trained specifically for industrial production environments and adapt to customers processes without requiring full IT integration. Almetra plans to broaden its automation capabilities and pursue robotics applications in selected production environments, and is using recent funding to expand into the US and advance product development. The company raised €16.3 million in a Series A led by blisce/, reflecting an early growth funding stage to scale technology and deployments.
- Graph Therapeutics
Participated · Equity · Jun 2026
Graph Therapeutics develops precision therapeutics for inflammatory and immune-mediated diseases by combining perturbation modelling of complex live patient samples, functional and multi-omics profiling, and advanced machine learning in a proprietary "lab-in-the-loop" AI platform. The company uses insights derived directly from patient tissue to identify disease mechanisms, novel therapeutic targets, and biomarkers to inform differentiated therapy development. Graph has validated and de-risked its platform with clinically relevant biological models and is advancing an internal pipeline of precision drug candidates across multiple indications. The maturity of the platform also creates opportunities for strategic partnerships and out-licensing to extend the technology beyond its internal programs. Financially, Graph has raised more than $10 million to date, comprising equity investments and non-dilutive grant funding.
- WhyBrilliant
Led · Seed · Jun 2026
WhyBrilliant builds a recruitment platform that reverses the traditional application model by using two AI agents—Nova for job seekers and Atlas for employers—to identify strong matches and introduce candidates only when appropriate. The company operates on a success-based revenue model, charging when a hire is completed. WhyBrilliant publicly launched after assembling a talent network of over a thousand mid-career technology professionals across Germany. It was founded by Patrick Böert and Aleksander Heimrath and is based in Berlin. With its €1M pre-seed backing from Merantix, the company plans to further develop the product, expand the platform, and grow its talent and employer network.
- Outpost Bio
Led · Seed · Mar 2026
Outpost Bio is building a Lab-in-the-Loop platform that marries automated experimentation with machine-learning models to unravel the complex interactions between human microbiology and health outcomes. By continuously feeding experimental data back into its algorithms, the company generates proprietary, human-derived functional datasets at scale. These models aim to aid pharmaceutical partners in lowering clinical risk, optimizing drug formulations, and bolstering regulatory submissions. Beyond pharma, the technology can evaluate how prebiotics, botanicals, and other ingredients affect microbial communities for food and consumer-health applications. The current focus is on expanding both the experimental infrastructure and the machine-learning stack to enhance model accuracy and throughput. Although still at a pre-revenue stage, the company has secured initial funding to accelerate platform development and commercial engagement with R&D teams across multiple industries.
- FICUS
Participated · Seed · Dec 2025
Founded in 2024, FICUS Health offers an AI-powered platform that streamlines medical documentation and information flow for rehabilitation clinics. The software can cut administrative workload by up to 70 %, letting clinicians focus more on patient care while meeting stringent security standards such as ISO/IEC 27002 with all data processed in Germany. Adoption has been rapid: almost 100 German rehab clinics use the system, over 100,000 medical documents have been processed in under nine months, and roughly 1,000 professionals rely on it daily. The company is led by CEO Benjamin Pochhammer and CTO Dr. Mario Elstner, who bring deep expertise in healthcare and AI. With fresh capital in hand, FICUS plans to develop additional applications that cover the entire patient journey and ensure full interoperability with existing clinical systems. It also aims to reinforce its organisational structure and expand its presence throughout the German-speaking (DACH) region. The recent €3 million in funding provides the financial runway to accelerate these initiatives.
