  FrostByte develops cryo-electronics intended to operate at extremely low temperatures for quantum technologies, including specialized cryo-CMOS circuits. The company also produces cryogenic integrated circuits and switches to control, bias and read out quantum devices locally. Its approach emphasizes scalability by moving control infrastructure closer to the processor to reduce external cabling, heat generation and system complexity for large-scale qubit systems. FrostByte was founded by James Kroll (CEO) and Luc Enthoven (CTO) with scientific support from Fabio Sebastiano and Masoud Babaie. The company is based in Delft, the Netherlands and recently raised €1.3M to expand operations and development efforts.

  Delft Circuits focuses on Cri/oFlex®, a flexible, cryogenic high-density I/O system engineered to remove the performance and thermal bottlenecks that traditional cabling introduces in large-scale qubit machines. The technology is sold to quantum hardware builders and is now being integrated into dilution refrigerators through a partnership with Bluefors. The firm recently hired long-time Boston Consulting Group veteran Martin Danoesastro as CEO to steer its next growth phase. Fresh capital will fund continued product innovation, additional technical hires, and expanded manufacturing capacity. Management also intends to leverage new investor Paeonia Group’s network to enter North American and Asian markets. A next-generation Cri/oFlex® product roadmap has already been published, underscoring plans to stay ahead of emerging quantum-computing I/O requirements. Including the latest extension, Delft Circuits has raised €15 million ($17.5 million) to date.
