- Eddy Grid
Led · Equity · May 2026
Eddy Grid builds advanced optimisation algorithms that manage combinations of solar, wind and battery assets in real time to maximize returns on energy markets. The company reports it delivers the highest returns across a wide range of products and has grown its managed portfolio to more than 500 MW. Founded in 2023, Eddy Grid is cash-flow positive after reporting nearly 900% revenue growth in 2025 and projecting roughly 1,000% growth in 2026. Its customer base is currently in the Netherlands and Belgium, and the company is preparing to launch in Germany. The team expanded from 16 to 60 employees since January 2025, and Eddy Grid says it is the largest independent optimiser in the Netherlands. The company plans to continue scaling its commercial footprint and strengthen its balance sheet following the recent €7.5 million raise.
- FrostByte
Led · Seed · May 2026
FrostByte develops cryo-electronics intended to operate at extremely low temperatures for quantum technologies, including specialized cryo-CMOS circuits. The company also produces cryogenic integrated circuits and switches to control, bias and read out quantum devices locally. Its approach emphasizes scalability by moving control infrastructure closer to the processor to reduce external cabling, heat generation and system complexity for large-scale qubit systems. FrostByte was founded by James Kroll (CEO) and Luc Enthoven (CTO) with scientific support from Fabio Sebastiano and Masoud Babaie. The company is based in Delft, the Netherlands and recently raised €1.3M to expand operations and development efforts.
- QuantWare
Participated · Series B · May 2026
QuantWare develops modular quantum processors built on its proprietary VIO architecture and has introduced the VIO-40K design aimed at higher qubit capacity. The company produces commercially available quantum processing units at industrial scale and follows an open approach that allows third parties to build and integrate their own designs. QuantWare was founded by researchers from QuTech and is expanding manufacturing capability in Europe through KiloFab, a dedicated facility in the Netherlands. Following its €152 million Series B, the company plans to scale both processor development and industrial production. Management frames these steps as accelerating the transition of quantum computing from research toward large-scale commercial deployment.
- Fiducial
Led · Equity · Apr 2026
Fiducial started in 2022 as a student project out of TU Delft and has since evolved into a defence-oriented dronetechnology company staffed largely by TU Delft alumni. The company develops computer-vision and software capabilities that allow drones to operate and be controlled in environments where conventional systems fail or are constrained. Its technology has been validated in combat conditions and is being integrated by drone partners active on European frontlines. A large European aircraft manufacturer is among the users of its technology, and Fiducial has expanded its offerings from industrial inspection to defence use cases over the past year. With the recent €2 million financing and Rabobank loan, the company plans to reinforce its role as a technology partner for both European drone producers and civil customers. Fiducial shifted to a defence focus amid developments in Ukraine and perceived needs to strengthen European defence capabilities.
- ROCSYS
Participated · Series A · Apr 2026
Rocsys builds hands-free charging and depot service solutions for electric and autonomous vehicle fleets, combining soft robotics, AI-driven computer vision and motion intelligence. Its newly announced M1 is an overhead rail-mounted, multi-bay charging system that can serve up to 10 bays from a single system and is interoperable across EVs, chargers and connector types. The M1 is currently in pilot deployment with large-scale rollout planned across North America and Europe in 2027, and the company says it can deliver up to a 75% productivity increase in depot operations and up to $1.7 million in annual savings at scale. Rocsys reports a 99.9%+ plug-in success rate in live environments and cites more than six years of real-world data and edge-case training underpinning its performance. The company's technology portfolio is supported by 130+ granted patents and pending applications and is already used in demanding environments such as ports. Financially, Rocsys has raised a total of $56M to date following the $13M Series A extension announced with participation from strategic investors including Capricorn Partners and Scania Invest.
