The product connects operators with hundreds of quality products, offers real-time analytics, and delivers procurement insights to simplify restaurant supply procurement. The company intends to expand operations and its development efforts and to enter untapped areas across Egypt while accelerating the development of new service verticals. Suplyd has shown strong operational growth since its 2022 pre-seed, growing nearly 20x in restaurants served and value of goods delivered. Today it serves over 5,000 restaurant customers and continues to roll out new operational tools and services. Suplyd operates a B2B procurement platform for HoReCa businesses that digitizes order procurement, payment and fulfillment, giving restaurants on-demand access to a wide range of SKUs at competitive prices. The platform aims to bring an e-commerce experience to restaurant supply chains, reduce waste, optimize assets and save time by replacing offline sourcing and manual supplier follow-ups. Suplyd also runs a network of tech-enabled fulfillment centers that provide real-time analytics and demand-pattern insights to inform stocking and guarantee fulfillment. The company was founded in January this year and is currently serving 500 customers in greater Cairo, reporting nearly 50% month-over-month growth since launch. Suplyd plans to use the new funding to scale its technology, expand within and beyond Cairo and explore additional growth opportunities across the MENA region.

    FICX (fka CallVU) is a San Francisco, CA–based CX automation company that provides enterprises a no-code software platform to automate customer processes and deliver them over any customer channel. Its platform lets companies add custom digital workflows in websites, apps, chat, IVR, call centers and in-store, and integrates with existing enterprise technology via prebuilt connectors and APIs. These integrations sync front-end experiences with backend CRM, contact center, service desk and payment systems. Customers named in the article include National Bank of Canada, Bank Leumi, Banca Transylvania and the Israeli Ministry of Health. Led by CEO Michael Oiknine, the company raised $8M in a Series B round led by NAventures with participation from Prytek and Liberty Global Ventures. It plans to use the funds to expand its core platform and drive market adoption of its CX automation tools. CallVU develops a Mobile Digital Engagement Platform that combines rich digital and interactive media with the voice channel to deliver engaging and collaborative customer experiences for contact centers. The platform creates a new customer service channel for smartphone users. Customers include banks, credit card companies and telecom carriers. The company is led by president and chairman Tuval Lava and CEO Ori Faran. CallVU recently raised $3M in funding. It intends to use the proceeds to expand its global reach, strengthen marketing, open offices abroad and grow its workforce by hiring sales, product management, software development and marketing experts.

Led by CEO and co-founder Erez Rusovsky, the company supports more than 3,000 developers across over 200 apps running on more than 25 million devices. Customers include Intuit, Badoo, ask.fm, Glow and GrabTaxi. Founded in 2014, Rollout is based in Tel Aviv and also has an office in New York. The company intends to use the new funding to develop additional product features, including launching Android support for the SDK, and to push go-to-market efforts. The company completed a $1M funding round in February 2016. Rollout.io offers an SDK that changes an app's runtime to give developers method-level access on iOS, enabling on-the-fly fixes such as disabling crashing functions, adding analytics events, or injecting try/catch blocks. The SDK includes pre-packaged solutions and supports injecting JavaScript for more complex repairs, all managed via an online dashboard that can also message affected users in real time. Founded in June 2014 by former Intel engineers Erez Rosovsky and Eyal Keren, the company opened limited testing and reports 1,700 developers registered and over 100 apps in production. Testers are currently using the service for free; Rollout.io plans a SaaS monthly subscription priced by volume. Future product plans include richer debugging capabilities, the ability to change the user interface and toggle third-party SDKs, and an Android SDK planned for next year to complement the iOS SDK available today. Tel Aviv-based Rollout.io is backed by $2 million from Canaan Partners Israel, Plus Ventures, and Star Farm Ventures.
