Founded in 2024 by Rifath Shaarook, Clinton D. Antony, Keerthan Chand Aluvala, and Saqib Hussain, Catalyx Space is developing the full back-end infrastructure needed to make low-Earth orbit function like a reliable logistics network. Its stack includes lightweight spacecraft buses, autonomous in-orbit labs with re-entry capabilities, non-canisterized deployment standards for smallsats, ground-station software, and proprietary reentry and recovery systems. The company’s flagship offering turns the traditionally unpredictable downmass leg of space missions into a schedulable service for microgravity-manufactured products, time-sensitive research, component returns, and sample logistics. Catalyx completed its first successful capsule drop test only six months after its pre-seed financing, demonstrating rapid technical execution. With $5.4 million in fresh seed capital—on top of a $1.7 million pre-seed round earlier in the year—the startup has raised $7.1 million to date. The new funds will be used to commercialize its next-generation reentry architecture, expand overseas operations, and scale global customer acquisition. Management positions Catalyx to tap into a space-infrastructure market projected to grow from $146 billion in 2024 to $308 billion by 2032.

BosonQ Psi’s core product is the Physics-Constrained Quantum-Assisted Machine Learning (PC-QAML) platform, which combines physics-based modeling with quantum-inspired computational techniques to perform AI inference. The platform is designed to run directly on space-qualified processors instead of relying on cloud or GPU-based computing. BQP plans to use its SpaceWERX SBIR award to develop and validate a software application that improves the speed and accuracy of identifying unknown objects and behaviors in space. The company positions its technology to operate on satellites and forward-deployed systems with limited computing power and intermittent communications. BQP has previously worked with the Space Domain Awareness Tap Lab and supports mission objectives for Space Operations Command Mission Delta 2 and Space Systems Command.
