New funding from Incore Invest is intended to accelerate these product and geographic expansion efforts. SAVR’s stated aim is to democratize investing in the Nordics by improving user experience and lowering costs for retail investors. Savr is a Swedish savings platform that launched its fund platform in November 2019 and offers mutual funds at lower fees by refunding retrocessions (kickbacks) to customers. Since launch it has acquired more than 90,000 customers and refunded over SEK 17.5 million in kickbacks. The company recently rolled out an occupational pensions offering and plans to develop stock trading to become a one-stop investment platform. Savr says it will use the newly raised capital to build out stock trading and further expand the platform. Insurello offers a digital solution that proactively educates users about their insurance coverage and files claims to maximize payouts on their behalf. Users create a case online and Insurello searches for all possible compensations based on the user’s coverage. The company charges a 25% fee on compensation when a claim is successful and collects no fee if it fails. Insurello was founded in 2016 and has paid out over SEK 200 million in compensation to consumers. Management says the team plans to expand into new markets and additional verticals to grow the service. The company recently completed a new financing to support this expansion. Insurello is a Stockholm-based insurtech that helps consumers claim fair compensation from insurance companies after personal accidents. Its digitised service handles the entire claims process and identifies compensation users weren’t aware of. The company has managed over 85,000 insurance claims and paid consumers more than €7 million. Founded in 2016, Insurello has doubled its team in the last 12 months to around 70 people. It recently acquired Ifdelayed.com to capture flight-delay claims alongside personal-accident claims. The startup raised €7.1 million to fund international expansion and to continue automating and simplifying its product for consumers.

Woilà reported a 10% week-on-week growth rate and was the top app on Sweden’s Apple Store in August last year. The startup has a roughly 10-person headcount. It raised €2.8 million in a round led by Scandinavian media group Schibsted, with funds earmarked for expansion into existing and international markets, new product verticals, and team growth. Inzpire.me was founded in March 2016 by Mats Lyngstad and Marie Mostad and has offices in Oslo and Palo Alto. Bynk is a Stockholm-based mobile loan app that allows users to request loans up to €28,000 to finance car payments, home repairs, or weddings and manage those loans through the app. Loan periods are typically between 3 and 12 years, with interest rates ranging from 4.95% to 17.55%. The company says it is building a European mobile bank and plans to broaden its product portfolio with cards, peer-to-peer loans, and other loan products while expanding across Europe. Bynk launched in 2017 (about 18 months before the article) and has been growing quickly since. Financially, Bynk received €48 million in equity funding from Schibsted and LMK Industri, bringing its valuation to €190 million and giving Schibsted a 32% stake. The company intends to use the capital to build its brand and release new products.
