Ucaneo develops patented direct air capture (DAC) technologies that leverage renewable energy-driven electrochemistry and novel solvents to remove CO₂ from the atmosphere and provide a sustainable CO₂ source for industrial use. The company intends to use its €6.75m seed funding (including grants) to build one of Germany’s largest DAC testing and development facilities and to develop its first industrial-sized product. Service4Charger supplies EV charging infrastructure and maintenance services to private, public and commercial customers, backed by an in-house team of digitally equipped electrical engineers called "Mobile Heroes." The company has raised a €10 million Series A to fund growth and operational expansion. Management says the capital will enable expansion into additional markets and hiring of more local operational staff and Mobile Heroes across Germany. Service4Charger is already in commercial partnership with bp (and its German brand Aral) to support rollout of EV charging. Distran is a pioneer and manufacturer of portable ultrasonic cameras used to detect gas leaks across industries including Oil & Gas, chemical, power generation, composites manufacturing, and space. Its Ultrasonic Cameras combine an integrated microphone array with an optical camera to pinpoint leaks from distance without contact, cutting inspection times by up to 10x versus other techniques. The company launched its first ultrasonic camera in 2013 and has since acquired global industry customers; its devices are used in more than 40 countries and NASA has used the Distran Ultra Pro on the ISS since December 2020.
