Throne has hired leaders from consumer wearable and health tech companies and added medical advisors and a chief of science to its team. Financially, Throne announced a $10 million Series A to support personnel growth and R&D. Its stated long-term mission is to develop the technology into a home-based continuous screener for early signs of colorectal cancer and cancers of the urinary tract.
