The company is investing in AI infrastructure and computing capacity to support its products, with specific spend on token consumption for AI model processing. Leadership includes cofounded and CEO Madhusudanan R, who spoke about the recent financing. M2P completed a second debt raise in the form of a Rs 100 crore, three-year facility from Alteria Capital. A portion of that financing will refinance higher-cost debt the company took on in 2023. The capital is intended to support expansion across its existing product lines and to develop AI capabilities.

YAP, operated by Chennai‑headquartered M2p Solutions, provides API solutions enabling banks and fintechs to build products around bank accounts, term deposits and digital payments including toll payments. Founded in 2014 by Muthukumar A, Madhusudan R and Prabhu R, the platform claims roughly 250 businesses on its platform, including about 200 startups and banks such as YES Bank, DCB Bank and Equitas SFB. As of December 2019, YAP says it processed over $2 billion in annual payments and handled more than 50 million transactions. The company plans to use fresh capital to hire talent and improve its technology stack to expand offerings into credit products, corporate banking, cross‑border payments and neo‑banking. YAP raised $4.5 million in a Series A led by Beenext and had earlier secured $1.3 million from angel investors two months prior.
