- GitHits
Led · Seed · Jun 2026
GitHits is developing an AI-native, version-aware index of public open-source code and a CLI tool that provides coding agents with real implementation examples, dependency source navigation, package inspection and documentation. The startup says its service lets agents search, navigate and inspect the code behind their dependencies to reduce hallucinations and retry loops. The company launched a free beta on Product Hunt and plans a first commercial release later in the year. GitHits was formed by four co-founders who spun out with support from Softlandia; CEO Jaakko Timonen and CTO Olli-Pekka Heinisuo are among the leaders. The CTO previously developed the opencv-python package (over 100 million downloads and cited as used by NASA's Ingenuity), which the company highlights as relevant domain expertise. Financially, GitHits has just completed a $1.75M pre-seed round to fund product development and go-to-market activities.
- Test of Things
Led · Seed · Mar 2026
Test of Things develops an AI-driven platform that automates end-to-end cybersecurity testing and compliance documentation for connected devices such as smart locks, medical monitors, and industrial equipment. The software is designed to run continuous tests, flag security issues early, and generate the regulatory documentation device manufacturers increasingly need. Founders Marko Kaasila (CEO) and Rauli Kaksonen (CTO) position the product as a scalable alternative to costly, manual testing performed by cybersecurity experts. The company plans to use its new Pre-Seed funding to grow its engineering team and accelerate platform development. The startup is based in Finland and targets a market that investors see as entering a high-growth phase due to IIoT/OT integration and rising regulatory and operational risks.
- Agileday
Participated · Series A · Jan 2026
Founded in 2022 by former Tieto colleagues Jaakko Hartikainen, Mikko Virtanen, Jaakko Hallavo and Hannu Kärkkäinen, Agileday has built a professional services automation (PSA) platform that integrates talent management, resource allocation, timesheets and project financials into one operating system. Sitting between a firm’s CRM and financial software, the cloud platform links real-time sales pipeline, project delivery and financial data while using artificial intelligence to coordinate work across functions. The product aims to remove silos, improve visibility and accelerate execution for professional services organisations. Agileday already works with more than 70 service companies worldwide, from fast-growing consultancies to publicly listed enterprises. The company generates revenue by selling platform subscriptions and related services (revenue figures were not disclosed). With fresh capital, management plans to deepen the product’s AI capabilities and scale go-to-market activities across Europe and North America. The founders position the platform as a way to help firms grow faster while improving employees’ work-life balance.
- Complir
Led · Seed · Dec 2025
Complir builds an AI-driven platform that matches products to local regulatory requirements, automates required documentation and compliance workflows, and keeps those rules updated as products and laws change. The company was founded in Copenhagen in 2024 following a real-world problem at Flying Tiger Copenhagen and has focused on customers in complex European retail organizations. Over the past six months Complir reported 45% month-over-month growth and has opened an office in France as a first step in international expansion. Financially, Complir completed a €1.7M pre-seed round in December 2024 led by Vendep Capital at a €8.5M post-money valuation, received a €146,000 grant from Innovationsfonden, and has now accepted a $500,000 investment from Y Combinator. Management says the YC backing will provide capital, network and operational support to scale the business more quickly.
- Inven
Led · Series A · May 2025
Inven builds an AI-native deal sourcing platform that analyzes data sources and websites, organizing information to identify meaningful signals and overlooked opportunities. The product continuously surfaces hidden opportunities and delivers predictive insights to help users prioritize the right moves. It is used by 700+ private equity firms, investment banks, consulting firms and VCs. The company sells into investment bankers, private equity firms and financial consultants to reduce time-to-deal and enhance sourcing precision. Inven plans to expand headcount over the next 12–18 months to scale its AI engineering, product development and customer success teams. Leadership includes CEO Niilo Pirttijärvi and CPO Tommi Kupiainen, and the company is based in Helsinki, Finland. Inven is a Finnish M&A software startup that uses AI and NLP to help M&A professionals automate laborious tasks such as scouring web pages to extract company data. Founded in 2022 by Ekku Jokinen, Niilo Pirttijärvi, and Tommi Kupiainen, the company has released a first version of its software that is already in use. Inven is actively developing the product with its customers to improve intelligence and usability. The startup raised €1.5 million in Seed funding led by Lifeline Ventures.
