  • Syntetica

    Participated · Series A · Jul 2026

Syntetica has developed a novel approach to recycling two hard-to-separate nylons—Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6—into pellets that can be used by manufacturers to make yarn. The company was co-founded by CEO Marco Bertone and chemistry researcher Louis Monsigny and has built early industrial partnerships, including with Michelin’s Centre for Sustainable Materials and apparel makers such as Lululemon, Victoria’s Secret and Etam. Syntetica does not produce finished textiles itself; instead it supplies recycled pellets to downstream manufacturers like MAS Holdings. The startup has received public backing from Bpifrance’s Ecotechnologies 2 fund and support from the European Innovation Council alongside private investors including EQT Ventures and SWEN Capital Partners. With its Series A funding, Syntetica aims to demonstrate production at the scale of hundreds of tons per year and then expand by building facilities near waste sources and textile production hubs. The team has added technical leadership and industry advisors to support scaling and commercialization.

  • Augur

    Participated · Seed · Mar 2026

Augur is a London-based technology company focused on national security, public-space protection and critical infrastructure safety. Its platform ingests feeds from existing cameras and sensors, fuses them with AI and delivers real-time incident detection, coordinated response capabilities and post-event analytics. Privacy is built in by design, allowing operators to improve situational awareness without compromising civil liberties. Led by CEO Harry Mead, CTO Imran Lone and Head of Engineering Stefan Kopieczek, the company targets governments, infrastructure operators and venue owners facing heightened security threats across Europe. The fresh capital will fund rapid deployment of the technology throughout the region. Financially, Augur has raised $15 million to date via its seed round; no revenue or user metrics were disclosed. Future plans center on scaling deployments and enhancing its perception engine.

  • Matta

    Participated · Seed · Dec 2025

Matta develops a self-learning computer-vision platform that rapidly adapts to diverse manufacturing lines and performs automated quality inspection, anomaly detection, root-cause diagnosis, and corrective-action recommendations. The system combines hardware, factory integration, AI research, and software, allowing most deployments to become operational within hours and to learn a new line in a matter of days with minimal training data. A central dashboard lets engineers monitor every camera, trace parts, and surface bottlenecks across the factory floor, turning tacit human know-how into scalable, data-driven insights. The technology is general-purpose, working across electronics, automotive, defence, apparel, and both manual and robotic stations, and Matta is already collaborating with OEMs so machines can automatically adjust their own settings. With its “sentient factory” vision, the company aims to deliver increasingly autonomous, end-to-end production. The recent $14 million seed financing provides resources to accelerate product rollout, enhance AI capabilities, build self-serve deployment tools, and expand into key manufacturing regions in Europe and the United States.

  • mimic

    Participated · Seed · Nov 2025

Founded in 2024 as a spin-off from ETH Zurich, mimic is a physical-AI company that marries advanced imitation-learning models with proprietary humanoid robotic hands mounted on off-the-shelf industrial robot arms. Its platform collects real-world motion data through wearable capture devices used by skilled factory workers, allowing the company to train frontier models that adapt, self-correct, and manipulate diverse objects in dynamic environments. The technology targets manufacturing, logistics, and assembly settings where conventional, pre-programmed robotics cannot match human dexterity. mimic is already piloting its system with Fortune 500 manufacturers, global automotive groups, and major logistics providers, offering rapid deployment without production downtime. Looking forward, the team aims to scale these pilots and position itself for the projected $38 billion dexterous robotics market by 2035. Financially, the Zurich-based startup has secured more than $20 million in total funding, including Swiss federal innovation grants and support from the AWS Generative AI Accelerator, underpinning its expansion and continued R&D.

  • Augmented Industries

    Participated · Seed · Sep 2025

Munich-based Augmented Industries offers Flow Tool, an AI-driven platform that lets factory and field-service technicians create, manage, and follow work instructions up to eight times faster than traditional methods. The software blends learning science with instructional design to automate onboarding, personalised troubleshooting, and quality checks across domains such as pneumatics, electronics, robotics, and wind-turbine maintenance. Early adopters including Siemens, Vestas, BMW, ZF, and Ford report a 29 % reduction in time-to-productivity and value its real-time MES/QMS integrations. Originating from the founders’ PhD research at the University of Cambridge, the product deploys securely on global enterprise networks and supports regulated environments with automated qualification management. The company targets the 500 million-strong global industrial operator workforce that cannot be fully automated. Newly raised capital will be directed toward expanding enterprise-grade AI capabilities, accelerating go-to-market execution, and broadening the European customer base en route to a comprehensive technician-excellence platform. No revenue figures were disclosed, and this pre-seed round represents the firm’s first reported institutional financing.
