- Devengo
Led · Series A · Nov 2025
Founded in 2020, Devengo builds payment infrastructure that connects directly to Iberpay, allowing companies to initiate automatic, programmable and real-time euro transfers without relying on traditional banking intermediaries. Its API-centric platform targets multi-sector clients that need faster, lower-cost payment workflows and greater operational control. By eliminating a banking middle layer, Devengo claims advantages in speed, security and scalability. The company is positioning itself to capitalise on the EU Instant Payments Regulation and plans to expand its coverage across the entire Single European Payments Area. Looking ahead, management intends to add emerging protocols such as Request to Pay and instant international transfers to stay ahead of regulatory and technological shifts. Although no revenue or user figures were disclosed, the firm highlights strong backing from strategic investors including Spanish banks and telecom-linked venture arms, signalling traction within the local financial ecosystem.
- Orbital Paradigm
Participated · Seed · Sep 2025
Orbital Paradigm is developing reusable reentry capsules to enable repeated orbital return missions for customers seeking microgravity test cycles. In less than two years the nine-person team built a test vehicle called KID (about 25 kg and roughly 16 inches across) with no propulsion. KID is a deliberately minimal, non-recoverable demonstration designed to separate from a rocket, transmit data from orbit, survive hypersonic reentry heating and ping home before impact. The company plans a second mission in 2026 featuring a scaled-down Kestrel with propulsion and a parachute to enable recovery in the Azores. Target customers include institutions and startups in biotech and materials that require multiple flights per year; initial KID customers named in the articles are Alatyr and Leibniz University Hannover plus a third unnamed customer. To date Orbital Paradigm has raised €1.5 million in seed funding from Id4, Demium, Pinama, Evercurious and Akka, and built KID with less than €1 million of internal spend.
