- Anodine
Led · Equity · Jan 2026
Anodine is a Gières-based cleantech startup that has developed an industrial process to upcycle and recharge electrolyzer electrodes, reducing the need for rare metals by half. The technology stems from ten years of research at Université Grenoble Alpes and the CNRS and is designed to lessen European dependence on Chinese-supplied electrodes while curbing global waste. With a seven-person team, the company plans to install a pilot line capable of producing 200,000 electrodes annually and to expand its commercial organization. Management’s longer-term goal is to become the leading European provider of sustainable electrodes for the hydrogen industry. In January 2026 Anodine closed a €2.5 million first funding round to finance the pilot facility and accelerate go-to-market efforts. The startup, founded in 2024, projects €2.5 million in revenue by 2027 as it moves from pilot to scaled production.
- ASTRIIS
Participated · Equity · Oct 2025
Founded in 2022 in Grenoble, ASTRIIS is a deep-tech startup focused on predictive maintenance for industrial equipment. Its core product, Astrion, couples artificial intelligence with advanced signal processing to detect early signs of defects in rotating machines, allowing operators to prevent costly downtime. The platform is already used by customers in the energy, metallurgy and chemical sectors and has been tested by major groups such as EDF and TotalEnergies. Since inception the company has achieved 150 % year-over-year growth, underscoring strong market traction. ASTRIIS is a laureate of the France 2030 program and intends to channel new capital into industrializing its SaaS offering and accelerating international expansion. - Moiz
Led · Equity · Sep 2025
Founded in 2020 out of research conducted at the Institut Néel (CNRS) and incubated by SATT Linksium, Moïz develops energy-harvesting technology that converts waste heat from industrial equipment into electricity for connected sensors. Its devices enable fully autonomous, battery-free monitoring solutions, cutting both environmental impact and installation or maintenance costs for heavy-industry clients such as Rio Tinto, with whom it has worked since 2021. The company’s first generation of sensors targets the digitalisation and decarbonisation of industrial sites by providing reliable data acquisition in harsh environments. With fresh capital, Moïz plans to accelerate the industrialisation of these products, expand international market reach, and advance R&D on silicon-integrated thermal energy recovery technologies. The startup will also strengthen its R&D team through approximately ten new hires over the next twelve months. To date, Moïz has secured €3 million in external funding, including €1.1 million in equity, to finance these growth initiatives.
- AIS Biotech
Led · Equity · Sep 2025
AIS Biotech, founded in 2023 and based in the Grenoble/Isère region, is developing GlycoFlu, a nasal antiviral composed of synthetic oligosaccharides that mimic cellular sugars to trap Influenza viruses before cell entry. The company leverages 25 years of academic research and is currently in preclinical development of its lead candidate. AIS also plans to industrialize a bioproduction platform for complex sugars to target other infectious diseases. The startup has four employees and intends to hire three more in the coming months to support R&D. The recent financing will accelerate preclinical work on GlycoFlu and broaden research on additional therapeutic targets. Company leadership (the three founders/executives) remain majority shareholders after the round.
