The platform is already used by customers in the energy, metallurgy and chemical sectors and has been tested by major groups such as EDF and TotalEnergies. Since inception the company has achieved 150 % year-over-year growth, underscoring strong market traction. ASTRIIS is a laureate of the France 2030 program and intends to channel new capital into industrializing its SaaS offering and accelerating international expansion. Management aims to position the firm as a key enabler of low-carbon, data-driven industrial operations. - Moiz
Participated · Equity · Sep 2025
Founded in 2020 out of research conducted at the Institut Néel (CNRS) and incubated by SATT Linksium, Moïz develops energy-harvesting technology that converts waste heat from industrial equipment into electricity for connected sensors. Its devices enable fully autonomous, battery-free monitoring solutions, cutting both environmental impact and installation or maintenance costs for heavy-industry clients such as Rio Tinto, with whom it has worked since 2021. The company’s first generation of sensors targets the digitalisation and decarbonisation of industrial sites by providing reliable data acquisition in harsh environments. With fresh capital, Moïz plans to accelerate the industrialisation of these products, expand international market reach, and advance R&D on silicon-integrated thermal energy recovery technologies. The startup will also strengthen its R&D team through approximately ten new hires over the next twelve months. To date, Moïz has secured €3 million in external funding, including €1.1 million in equity, to finance these growth initiatives.
