- Borro
Participated · Equity · May 2026
Founded in 2023 by Glenn Verhaege, Kasper Albers and Niels Willems, Borro has developed an intelligent deposit system for reusable cups that links each cup to a visitor's bank card and returns the deposit automatically at smart collection points. The system uses invisible codes readable by cameras rather than RFID, and the company emphasizes fraud prevention through unique payment-linked tracking and full traceability. Borro offers 24/7 live monitoring and analytics on return rates, stands, peak moments and system performance. It reports that millions of reusable cups have already been processed through its system and is active at Belgian football clubs including Club Brugge and KV Mechelen. The company joined PSG Labs at Station F and is preparing an implementation at Paris's Parc des Princes, while also seeing interest from concert venues, amusement parks and festivals. Borro aims to be the European reference for digital deposit systems as regulation and reuse initiatives spread across the event industry.

- Wenite
Led · Equity · Apr 2026
Founded in 2021 and based in Ghent, Wenite builds a white‑label toolbox for HR service providers that covers data collection via surveys and CRM, client trajectory management, dashboards and AI‑driven analysis of employee data. The platform is purpose-built for consultants to centralise workflows—replacing spreadsheets and scattered tools—and to create a "living file" for each client to track progress and demonstrate impact. Wenite currently counts around 25 HR consultants as direct clients, including BDO, Springbok Coaching and The Moris Company, who together serve more than 500 end clients. To date the platform has collected over 3 million data points for roughly 45,000 employees across use cases such as early burnout detection and psychosocial risk analysis. The founding team comprises three Ghent entrepreneurs, two of whom hold doctorates in psychology, and the company grew initially on its own resources. With the new funding, Wenite plans to expand its commercial team and scale its go‑to‑market across Europe, targeting the c.20,000 HR service providers the founders estimate exist on the continent.
- Talentguide
Participated · Equity · Feb 2026
Talentguide is a Ghent-based HR technology company whose cloud platform uses AI and natural language processing to translate unstructured corporate data—such as CVs, job descriptions, work instructions, and evaluations—into a structured skills intelligence layer. The software maps employee capabilities across tasks, traits, and knowledge domains, creating a skills-based job architecture that gives organisations immediate visibility into their existing competencies. It then generates personalised development plans and forecasts future skill requirements, helping both blue-collar and office workers navigate upskilling and reskilling paths. The platform is designed for rapid deployment without complex installations, appealing primarily to mid-sized and large enterprises; current users include Travvant, MCC Verstraete, Banqup, Robovision, mtech+, and Syntra Bizz. Revenue, user count, and other operating metrics were not disclosed. With fresh capital, the company intends to grow its revenue, product, and engineering teams, hiring additional software and AI engineers as well as customer success staff. The overarching goal of the raise is to accelerate European market expansion.
- Touchwaves
Participated · Seed · Jan 2026
Touchwaves, founded by Charlotte Kjellander and Martin Romero as a spin-off from Dutch research institute TNO, builds next-generation wearable haptics that deliver intuitive, non-invasive tactile feedback to users operating in high-workload settings. The system is initially aimed at fighter-jet pilots and is being co-developed with the Dutch Ministry of Defence, the Royal Netherlands Air and Space Forces, and the Center for Man in Aviation to reduce human-factor errors and improve mission effectiveness. Designed as a dual-use platform, the company envisions the same technology supporting elite sports training, ground operations, and healthcare applications such as breathing guidance and stress resilience. The startup’s long-term goal is to establish haptics as a core human–machine interface wherever cognitive load and stress are high. Touchwaves has secured €1.5 million in pre-seed capital to accelerate product development and expand its use-case roadmap. No revenue or user figures have been disclosed to date, and the company remains in its early development phase.
