The company offers around 58 SKUs across doctor-led and D2C segments and its products are prescribed in more than 2,000 clinics nationwide. CHOSEN’s online channel serves customers across India, with nearly 95% of digital sales on its own platform and roughly 70% of revenue driven by repeat customers, primarily women aged 30–50. The company is preparing to expand into global skin-of-color markets in Latin America and East Asia and competes with brands such as Avène, Heliocare, Cetaphil, Sebamed, Shiseido and Dr. Sturm.

Chando has also partnered with medical institutions such as Huashan Hospital and the National Children’s Medical Center (Fudan University Children’s Hospital) to strengthen product innovation. The newly raised capital will be used to expand operations and support ongoing product development initiatives.

VLGE has raised $4 million in funding to date from investors that include Venrex VC and L’Oréal’s BOLD, and it lists advisers from Wave, Sandbox, and Paper Magazine. The company was launched by Evelyn Mora, a Finnish entrepreneur and sustainability strategist based in France.
