- Kausable AI
Participated · Seed · Jul 2026
kausable AI builds reasoning-first foundation models that learn causal relationships from synthetic data to adapt quickly to new situations using only a handful of examples. The startup's core product is a causal "world model" architecture and associated models like TipPFN, a zero-shot forecasting model that predicts tipping points across domains such as medicine and energy. Founded by Johannes Haux (CEO), Dr Benjamin Herdeanu (CTO) and Gregor Ramien (COO) in 2025 out of research at Heidelberg University, the company has a nine-person team and has published research including a paper co-authored with Columbia University collaborators. Financially, kausable raised roughly €1.5M in pre-seed financing and has now secured €12M in a seed round led by UVC Partners and Entourage, supplemented by strategic angel backers. Over the next year it intends to expand the team, run customer pilot projects, become more product-focused, and target applications in robotics, healthcare, forecasting and industrial systems.
- ATMOS Space Cargo
Participated · Series A · Apr 2026
ATMOS Space Cargo develops free-flying orbital transfer and re-entry vehicles (PHOENIX family) and offers space logistics services to commercial, institutional, and defence customers. PHOENIX 2 is described as a free-flying spacecraft with integrated propulsion and power capable of missions from hours to several months in LEO, performing autonomous de-orbit and controlled atmospheric re-entry using an Inflatable Atmospheric Decelerator (IAD) that is non-ablative and acts as a heat shield and aerodynamic brake. The company plans an initial three-vehicle PHOENIX 2 fleet operated as a phased campaign and is preparing recovery operations near Santa Maria in the Azores under an ANACOM licence. ATMOS is also developing PHOENIX 3, a next-generation return vehicle with an intended payload capacity of roughly one metric tonne, about ten times PHOENIX 2’s capacity. To serve governmental and defence needs it is launching ATMOS WORKS, a dedicated dual-use business unit. The company raised €25.7M in a Series A to fund these activities, including the PHOENIX 2 build, ATMOS WORKS launch, and PHOENIX 3 development, with participation from the EIC Accelerator which provides blended grant and equity financing.
- Blockbrain
Participated · Series A · Feb 2026
Founded in 2022, Blockbrain develops a responsible AI platform that lets enterprises build digital “knowledge twins” capturing employee expertise, processes, and decision logic. These Knowledge Bots deliver institutional know-how across teams while minimising hallucinations through a security-first, ISO 27001-certified, GDPR-compliant architecture that meets EU AI Act requirements. The system’s multi-model design avoids vendor lock-in and keeps sensitive data under customer control. Commercial traction is strong: Blockbrain reported five-fold revenue growth in 2025 and counts Bosch, Roland Berger, Kärcher, and other regulated-sector leaders as clients. An independent Giesecke+Devrient benchmark awarded the solution 92/105 points, outperforming rival enterprise AI offerings. With fresh capital, the company will deepen investment in security, governance, and compliance, add specialised AI agents with fallback mechanisms, and scale EU & UK go-to-market by hiring Forward-Deployed AI Engineers. Total funding now stands at €23 million, positioning Blockbrain to address structural talent shortages and productivity gaps in knowledge-intensive industries.
- Skycore Semiconductors
Participated · Seed · Nov 2025
Skycore Semiconductors is a Denmark-based fabless chipmaker focused on silicon-validated Power Integrated Circuit technology designed to meet the extreme power density and efficiency requirements of emerging 800V high-voltage direct current (HVDC) architectures in AI data centres. Its platform delivers compact, flat-form-factor solutions that address a critical bottleneck in scaling AI infrastructure power systems. The company controls six patent families underpinning its technology and is currently preparing its first commercial products. An eight-person team is collaborating with strategic partners to bring these solutions to market and gradually expand headcount. Skycore envisions extending its leadership in Power ICs beyond AI facilities to other high-power applications requiring similar voltage ranges. To date, the startup has raised €5 million in seed financing to support product development and initial go-to-market efforts.
- Assemblio
Participated · Seed · Mar 2024
Assemblio offers an AI-based software solution that automatically generates assembly plans in multiple formats, including PDF, video, and interactive 3D step-by-step instructions. The platform is used by industrial customers such as Krones and Bosch. The company is led by Alexander Neb, Jens Popper, Florian Strieg, and Greg Rauhöft. Assemblio raised €2.1M in seed funding to support its growth. The firm intends to use the funds to expand operations and accelerate product development. Its core focus is simplifying integration and shaping the future of assembly planning through automation.
