Flipflow provides a unified competitive intelligence platform that monitors millions of products across tens of countries and thousands of retailers, transforming large-scale market data into actionable insights for commercial, trade marketing and e-commerce teams. Its platform offers real-time capabilities including full-store assortment analysis, price and promotion monitoring, digital visibility and execution, and control of distribution and grey-market activity. The company has announced enterprise customers in FMCG, beauty and electronics such as Nestlé, Unilever, L’Oréal and ISDIN and already operates in Spain and Latin America. This year Flipflow launched Tyrell AI, an autonomous agent that analyzes market signals 24/7 and prescribes prioritized actions to commercial and marketing teams; development of Tyrell involved collaboration with Google on AI. Flipflow is using recent funding to accelerate technology development and drive international expansion into Northern Europe and the U.S. The company positions itself as a central intelligence layer to enable faster, proactive decision-making in a fragmented retail landscape.

    Participated · Series A · Jun 2022

CloudQuery is a developer-first cloud governance platform that ingests data from 60+ sources, including AWS, GCP, Azure, Okta, and Wiz, into a single, queryable data warehouse. The platform delivers out-of-the-box insights for security, compliance, and cost, while enabling teams to build custom dashboards and alerts without managing complex data pipelines. Over the past year CloudQuery has quadrupled ARR, quadrupled its customer base—including four Fortune 500 financial institutions—and doubled headcount; it also acquired Tailwarden. The company reports 4x year-over-year growth and widespread enterprise adoption and plans to expand its product into broader governance, security, and compliance use cases. New capital will be used to scale go-to-market efforts with a focus on Fortune 500 adoption and to invest in strategic partnerships to accelerate platform growth. Founded by Yevgeny Pats, CloudQuery positions itself as the cloud governance backbone for modern enterprises. CloudQuery is an open-source, SQL-based tool that provides visibility into cloud infrastructure resources. It ingests data from the Big Three cloud vendors (Amazon, Microsoft and Google) and layers on integrations with adjacent SaaS like Datadog and Okta. Users apply the data for security, compliance and cost-tracking use cases, including finding over-provisioned or “zombie” resources and building rule-based alerts. The product has enterprise traction: 20 companies with at least 1,000 employees use CloudQuery. The company operates as an open platform that allows external developers to contribute integrations to the official integrations. CloudQuery has 15 employees, plans to stay lean while building community, envisions a future SaaS offering, and says the new funding provides at least three years of runway to reach revenue. CloudQuery builds an open source cloud assets inventory tool powered by SQL to help developers, DevOps engineers and SREs understand multi-cloud infrastructure. Founder and CEO Yevgeny Pats started the project after selling his previous startup Fuzzit to GitLab and encountering visibility challenges across clouds. The tool launched nine months ago and was released on GitHub earlier this year, quickly gaining adoption from companies including Bloomberg, Salesforce and Zendesk. CloudQuery is fully remote and currently has 11 employees with plans to grow to 14 by the first quarter of next year. Pats intends to prioritize building the open source community first, then offer a SaaS product to simplify usage and provide enterprise features. The company raised a $3.5M seed round to double down on development and expand the open source project.
